  • Terry – Photo 1 of 1

    Terry

    Yellow-Bellied Slider · 20 years · Female · Small

    Co. Longford, Ireland

Terry is a beautiful female Yellow-bellied Terrapin who is at least 20 years old. She has been very well cared for throughout her life, but sadly her owner is no longer able to continue caring for her, so she is now looking for a new home. After so many years with her family, Terry deserves a special home that can provide the same high standard of care and commitment she has always known. She is looking for an experienced and dedicated owner who understands the needs of long-lived aquatic turtles and is prepared to care for her for many years to come. Terry has plenty of life ahead of her and would love to find a forever home where she can settle in and continue to thrive. If you have the experience, space, and commitment to give this lovely girl the wonderful home she deserves, Terry would love to meet you.

  • Zebo – Photo 1 of 1

    Zebo

    €200adoption fee

    Spaniel · 10 years · Male

    Co. Cork, Ireland

Zebo is a 10 year old Brittany Spaniel who is being rehomed because his activity levels are too much for his elderly owners. Zebo is a strong, excitable dog who even at 10 has a need for regular and stimulating exercise. A secure garden would be preferrable for Zebo so he has somewhere to dash around. Zebo does not have a lot of experience around other dogs, he would likely do best in a home where he is the only pet. This is a very happy, well-natured dog that we hope will be a terrific walking and hiking companion for the right owner. To apply please fill in the Adoption Questionnaire for Zebo.

    Rocket

    £287.50adoption fee

    Whippet Cross x Collie (Border) · 4 years · Male · Medium

    Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland

Type of home required: This lovely lad is Rocket, a 4-year-old Crossbreed with so much to offer his forever home. Rocket has been working very hard to get ready for his fresh start, and he can’t wait to show you what an amazing boy he is! He will need multiple meets here at the Rehoming Centre prior to adoption so that the training team can offer all the tips and tricks for introducing Rocket to his new life. Rocket is best suited as the only pet, and he will need an active, adult only household that most importantly love to have fun! A secure outdoor space would be amazing for him to run around, play and sniff during the day. His adopters should also be able to be at home with him at the beginning, and until leaving time can be gradually increased. More information: Rocket loves to spend time with people and is the friendliest, most loving boy. His favourite thing to do is go on adventures, and he will travel in the car to find the best spots. Rocket’s ideal walking location is somewhere quieter, as meeting lots of other dogs is overwhelming for him. However, when he is properly introduced, he can make fantastic dog friends to have play dates with! Rocket has an infectious personality that leaves everyone smiling, his goofy ways and funny antics will make him such a great addition to his new home.

  • Osgar – Photo 1 of 8

    Osgar

    €275adoption fee

    Lurcher · 6 months · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Giddy, excitable and full of puppy-like enthusiasm, Osgar is a young lurcher who is ready to put his difficult start behind him and begin exploring the world! Osgar suffered a badly injured leg when he was younger, which meant he needed time to recover and unfortunately missed out on some of the important experiences and training young dogs usually get. The good news is that Osgar has now made a full recovery and is ready for his next adventure. Although he may be a young dog, Osgar is very much still a puppy just in a rather taller body! His new family will need to help him learn all the basics, from house training and walking nicely on lead to understanding how to settle and make good choices in everyday life. With patience, consistency and plenty of positive reinforcement, Osgar can continue growing into the wonderful adult dog he has the potential to be. Osgar absolutely adores people and would happily spend every minute with you. He will need a family who has plenty of time to dedicate to him and who can help him gradually learn that being home alone is okay too. The Dogs Trust team will be there to guide his new family through this process and help him build his confidence at his own pace. Osgar could live with adults and older teenagers who are ready to embrace the fun, commitment and training that comes with helping a young dog find his feet. His social skills with other dogs are still a work in progress, so for now, Osgar would be happiest as the only pet in the home. He can continue building positive experiences and learning how to make good doggy friends while out and about. If youre looking for a fun, affectionate and slightly goofy young lurcher who is ready for a fresh start, Osgar is waiting to meet you!

  • Macaroni – Photo 1 of 1

    Macaroni

    €100adoption fee

    DSH · 16 weeks · Male

    Co. Kerry, Ireland

Macaroni is a sweet little lad who is quick to trust & loves to play😊 He’s a big fan of other cats and absolutely adores their company: to be able to chase, play-fight, groom and comfort each other – what’s not to like? But when a human enters the room, Macaroni is always ready to run over to greet them😊 As far as he’s concerned, we humans are simply the best! In his foster home, Macaroni has become a real connoisseur and true devotee of cuddles, and his appetite for snuggles is surpassed only by his passion for treats! If you would like to welcome this beautiful cuddle bug into your heart and home, please get in touch with us here below.

    Banksy & Shadow

    €100adoption fee

    DSH · 1 year

    Co. Kerry, Ireland

Banksy and Shadow like human company, once they know and trust you. The beginning of your acquaintance might be a little subdued and they may seem a bit shy at first. But as soon as they have realized that you are a friendly creature who comes to them in peace, they quickly relax around you😊 These two scamps love the company of other cats, as that’s a great opportunity for fun, playful times. But even just having each other is better than being the only feline around, seems to be their firmly held belief. And we can’t argue with that😊 Their foster mom has been trying to get them used to different household noises: the dishwasher, washing machine, etc. And they’re making progress, although they are still afraid of the hoover, but then can you blame them😉 If you would like to offer these lovely furballs a place by your fireside, please get in touch with us here below.

Terrier (Staffordshire Bull) Cross x Beagle · 10 months · Male · Medium

    Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland

Type of home required: This gorgeous boy is 10 month old Remi! Remi is a lively Staffie X Beagle and is full of life! He is a very friendly boy who enjoys meeting new people and loves to explore his surroundings. He would love a family to take him on plenty of adventures and provide him with lots of exercise. He enjoys running about and playing, so an active family with a secure garden would be perfect for him. True to his breeds he loves to use his nose so would thrive in a home that is happy to do some sniffy games and enrichment! More information: Remi will need a family to continue his basic training and help him manage his excitement. He is looking for a loving, understanding home and a family to call his own. He could live with another dog pending successful meets at the centre and can live with older, secondary school children who are confident around bouncy dogs. Remi will need support to help build confidence around car travel, but with the right love and support we know he will be a great addition to his new family! Arthur & Astra

    €60adoption fee

    Cat · 1 year · Male

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Adventurous and adorable Arthur & Astra for adoption! This gorgeous one-year-old pair are looking for their forever home together. They are indoor cats and would love access to a secure, protected balcony where they can safely enjoy watching the world go by. Arthur and Astra are playful, curious boys who love their food, their toys and, of course, plenty of naps! They love playing together and enjoy sleeping in one of their many favourite beds. They are quite some climbers and are resourceful! Astra (black nose) is the more cautious and sensitive of the two. He can be nervous and likes affection on his own terms, but he particularly enjoys being stroked when he is relaxing on the bed. He needs patience and time to settle. Arthur (pink nose) is the more confident and adventurous one. He is curious, playful and always ready to investigate what is going on! They absolutely love mealtimes and will happily come running when food appears. These two lovely boys complement each other beautifully and are looking for a patient, loving home where they can stay together and continue their adventures. They also enjoy the company of older cats and are social with them, although their conception of fun involves climbing over bigger cats Initially in foster care, Arthur and Astra were due to stay permanently with their fosterer. Unfortunately, due to a recent and unforeseen change in circumstances, they are now looking for their forever home together

  • Horton – Photo 1 of 1

    Horton

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 4 years · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Horton was admitted into our care after he was sadly abandoned outside our centre overnight. Horton is a very handsome boy who is looking to find the right home for him, where he can have his own time and space to settle. He has a nervous nature and can be quite nervous of people, he would benefit from having a hands-off approach initially, allowing him his own time to come out of his shell, at his own pace. Horton will require owners who have experience with nervous cats, that will be patient with him and will take the time to help him build his confidence and trust with people. Horton has a quiet personality, he thrives best in calm environments and although he is initially nervous, he has started to slowly come round in his foster home and will allow for some very gentle and slow handling. He is an independent boy who likes to be able to make his own choices and will approach you if he wants to enjoy some attention. Due to his nervous nature, he would prefer to live in an adult only home as he does not currently like to be handled. Due to his independent nature, Horton would require outdoor access in his new home once settled. It is unknown how he would react with other pets in the home.

  • Piper – Photo 1 of 4

    Piper

    Lurcher · 2 years · Female · Medium

    Co. Cork, Ireland

Piper is a 2 year old petite lurcher, possibly a whippet cross terrier. She is a loving and playful girl, very bouncy, but she can be anxious around new people and can take time to trust. She will really thrive however with the attention in a new loving home. She loves to snuggle on the sofa. She gets on well with other dogs and is good on the lead. She is house trained and crate trained. No cats and teenage children best. Piper would do great as the only dog with plenty of company where she can get the love she craves. She is perfect out and about meeting other dogs. She is used to living in the country so a built up city area wouldn’t suit.

Prawn Cocktail- Female, Black (with some white) Pickled Onion- Male, Black (with some white) All kittens are full of beans and will make a great addition to any home! We won’t know until the kittens are 6 months old if they are also FIV+. Once they get that age, Assisi will get them F tested to check. As there is a possibility they may be FIV+, we will be rehoming them as if they are. FIV means they will be immunocompromised, and may be higher risk of getting unwell throughout their life. Because of this, they will need to be kept as strict housecats. They need to be rehomed as the only cat in the home, with another one of their littermates, or to a house with a cat that has been diagnosed with FIV. They can live with dogs.**.

Meet SPOTTY and POUNCER, two gorgeous very healthy seven year old neutered brothers from the same litter who’ve never spent a day apart. SPOTTY has a stunning snow-white fur with a spot behind each ear and one on the back while POUNCER has a beautiful white and ginger coat. These two are inseparable and like curling up together like best friends. POUNCER can be a little shy at first, but give him time and he’ll reward you with lap cuddles and contented purring, SPOTTY, meanwhile, is an easy, affectionate soul who loves a good snuggle. Together, they make wonderful, loving companions for anyone looking to fill their home with warmth. Sadly through no fault of their own, these two need a new forever home. Their owner is moving country and cannot take them along. Currently enjoying countryside living, SPOTTY and POUNCER love the outdoors though they don’t stray far, so they’d thrive in a quiet, residential area. Please not that they aren’t used to living with dogs, so a dog free home would suit them. SPOTTY and POUNCER are currently staying in the countryside near Kinsale.
