A handsome Sports Horse with a gentle soul... Levi is a handsome Sports Horse with a gentle soul who is looking for a patient and understanding home. He can be quite nervous around new people and may take a little time to build trust, but once he gets to know you, he forms lovely bonds and enjoys human company. Levi is a sweet boy who thrives with calm, consistent handling. We suspect he may have an old injury affecting his hind end or hips, so any future ridden work would need to be approached carefully. While he may be suitable for breaking and light work, his comfort and welfare must always come first. Levi would suit an experienced home willing to take the time to earn his trust and help him continue to grow in confidence. In return, you’ll gain a loyal and rewarding companion.

Marshall is a sensitive soul who takes a little time to get to know, but those who earn his trust are rewarded with the company of a truly special dog. Behind his shy exterior is a bright, affectionate boy who enjoys the quieter side of life and forms deep, meaningful bonds with the people he loves. Marshall thrives in the company of familiar faces and enjoys affection, companionship, and being part of everyday life. Once he feels comfortable, his loyal and loving nature shines through, and he is happiest when spending quality time with his trusted humans. As a typical Collie cross, Marshall has an intelligent mind and strong natural instincts. He flourishes when given opportunities to engage both his brain and body. Herding-style games are a particular favourite, allowing him to stalk, chase, problem-solve, and channel his instincts in a positive way. These activities help keep him mentally stimulated and physically fulfilled. Marshall is looking for an adult-only home where he can be the centre of attention as the only pet. His ideal family will be patient and understanding, giving him the time and space he needs to settle in and build trust at his own pace. They will also be committed to continuing his training and providing the calm, stable environment where he can truly thrive. In the right home, Marshall will be a devoted companion whose affection and loyalty are well worth the wait. Type of home required: Marshell is looking for a quiet, adult only home in a rural or semi-rural area where he can grow in confidence and build a loving bond with his forever family. He will need an adopter who is rarely away from home as he struggles with being left alone. Most of all he needs a special someone who will give him the time, space and love that he deserves.
Brando is a handsome 6-year-old boy with a huge heart and so much love to give. Affectionate, loyal, and devoted, Brando thrives on human companionship and forms incredibly strong bonds with his people. Once you've earned a place in his heart, you're there for life. His favourite thing in the world is simply being by your side and sharing in your day. This friendly lad loves meeting people and is always keen to make new friends. He can sometimes be a little boisterous when he's excited, but it's all part of his enthusiastic and loving nature. Brando is happiest when he's spending time with those he trusts, whether that's heading out for a walk or relaxing together at home. Brando enjoys his daily walks and particularly loves exploring peaceful, quieter locations where he can take in the sights and smells at his own pace. While he is happy to be out and about, he can feel a little uneasy around larger dogs and would prefer not to encounter too many during his outings. Underneath his cheerful personality, Brando is a sensitive soul who can find loud or sudden noises quite frightening. Things like car alarms and other unexpected sounds have startled him in the past, so he is looking for a calm, understanding home in a quieter area where he can feel safe and secure. Brando would love a family who appreciates his affectionate nature and can provide him with the patience, reassurance, and companionship he craves. In return, he will be a loyal best friend who will stick by your side through thick and thin. If you're looking for a devoted companion with a gentle heart and endless love to give, Brando could be the perfect match for you. Type of home required: Brando is looking for an Active adult only family that enjoy walking. He would love a spacious garden to play and explore in and could potentially live with another dog. Lily is a large, beautiful tabby girl, aged approximately 3–4 years. She is neutered, litter trained, and a big sturdy lady with a wonderful nature — though she can be an absolute diva! Lily needs a special, adult-only home where she will be understood and loved exactly as she is. She enjoys being stroked and loves sitting on your lap… but only on her terms. She needs to be the only pet in the home. Lily does not like other cats, definitely does not like dogs, and she has no intention of sharing her food, her space, or her people. She is a bit of a madam, but in the very best way possible. Lily doesn’t like being dictated to, and if dinner is not served quickly enough, she may give your hand a little nip to hurry things along! Lily would suit an indoor/outdoor home where she can enjoy fuss on demand, freedom to explore, and the chance to go out and hunt. She is now waiting for the right human slave to adore her. Could Lily be your queen?
Annie was living on the streets for many weeks before she was caught . She can still be scared in new situations but is improving slowly . She would thrive in a patient home with another dog to help her confidence . She’s around 3 or 4 years old. A secure garden is a must.
Freddie has had numerous stays in the sanctuary. We are determined that Freddies next adoption will be successful. Freddie has displayed aggression on numerous occasions in the past. Most of these incidents have been around resource guarding of items he considers valuable to him, or reacting fearfully when being interrupted where he is resting. Our behaviourist has indicated there may have been a pain element to this. Freddie has now been on a pain relief and hopefully he will be more comfortable in future. Cute things about Freddie – His little underbite. The way he waddles when he walks. His fave toys- dinosaur, octopus and caterpillar. His enthusiast morning greetings to his fave people. Freddie is the most clearest example we have seen of a dog preferring women over men. With having had so many unsuccessful adoptions we will now saying that Freddie should live in a female only home. There must be no children living or visiting the home. Prospective adopters should be prepared to work with our behaviourist and staff at the sanctuary to help set the home and Freddie up for success. Adopters should be tuned in to dog body language and have experience of dealing with similar behaviour issues. Some small dogs feel the need to shout louder to be listened to so it is important we listen to Freddie’s communication. Assistance will be provided by way of our Aprils Wish program to help with behaviour. Further assistance will be provided by our supported adoption scheme where we will continue to pay for Freddie’s pain relief. Freddie may be able to live with another dog pending successful meet and greets. We will contact you if we are moving forward with your application.
Jacksie is a gentle and sensitive soul who is searching for a special home to call his own. Jacksie forms incredibly strong and devoted bonds with his people and loves nothing more than spending quality time with those he trusts. A good cuddle and plenty of pets are high on his list of favourite things, especially if he can enjoy them while soaking up the sunshine. Sunbathing is one of Jacksie's favourite pastimes, and you'll often find him happily stretched out in a warm spot, watching the world go by. When he's not relaxing, Jacksie loves to play. A game of football is guaranteed to get his tail wagging, and he enjoys having fun with his favourite people. He's also a clever boy who loves learning new things and would thrive with a family who are committed to continuing his training and helping him build his confidence. Jacksie can find loud noises and busy environments overwhelming, so he is hoping to find a calm and quiet home where he can settle into a predictable routine. With patient and understanding owners, he will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Due to his fear of children, Jacksie is looking for an adult-only home. He will need a household with no visiting children and no future plans for children, allowing him to feel safe and secure in his environment. For the right family, Jacksie will be a devoted best friend, offering endless loyalty, affection, and companionship in return for the love and understanding he deserves.

Jason is an intelligent and enthusiastic dog who loves learning new things, especially when tasty treats are involved! Highly food-motivated and eager to engage, he thrives on training and enjoys having a job to do. If youre looking for a canine companion to join you on walks, adventures, or other activities, Jason could make the perfect exercise buddy. Jason has a playful side and loves staying active, but hes also looking for a family who can help him continue developing his skills and learning how to relax and settle in a home environment. He would do best with experienced, adult-only adopters who are committed to positive training and willing to invest time in helping him reach his full potential. To help him settle successfully, Jason will need a calm and predictable home where he can adjust at his own pace. Keeping visitors to a minimum during his first few weeks will help him feel secure and build confidence in his new surroundings. Jason can become frustrated when he sees other dogs, so he will need walks in quieter locations where he can enjoy his outings without encountering lots of canine traffic. With the right management and understanding, he can enjoy a happy and fulfilling life with his new family. Jason is a bright, affectionate dog with so much potential. For someone willing to give him the time, patience, and guidance he needs, he will be a loyal companion and rewarding best friend. Could you be the person hes been waiting for?

2 year old Chief is a gentle, sweetheart of a lurcher who is currently enjoying the comforts of a great foster home. Still a bit nervous of the outside world, Chief is steadily gaining in confidence and coming out of his shell. His favourite thing to do is chill on the couch, preferably snuggled up close to his human where he can enjoy being cuddled. Chief has recovered from a broken leg injury and is not yet venturing out on walks owing to his recovery and his timidness. Sudden noises startle him but he is gradually getting used to normal household sounds. Chief can be left alone without issue either in a crate or without, is very food motivated and is so quiet you can forget he is even there. He needs a home with a nice big couch and a patient owner who will allow him to build trust and confidence. Chief is not suited to sharing his home with another dog or cat as he tends to resource-guard owing to his fearfulness. He needs a very special owner who is sympathetic to his fear-based behaviours and who is experienced enough with dogs to allow him feel relaxed and help him reach his full potential.

The promise of a great home is the reason we do this job and we know Hardy will make a great pet. Do you think he could be your future dog.. Apply today. Link for our application is below. Large male Lurcher estimated to be 2-3 years old. All dogs are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and parasite treated.
