  • Monty – Photo 1 of 3

    Monty

    Beagle · 5 years · Male

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Monty is a handsome 5-year-old Beagle with a gentle nature and plenty of love to give. Friendly, affectionate and happiest when he's spending time with his people, he's looking for a family who will give him the second chance he deserves. Like most Beagles, Monty enjoys getting out for walks, following interesting scents and being involved in everyday family life. Once he's had his exercise, he's more than happy to relax and enjoy some fuss and attention. Monty is already well mannered and has settled nicely into home life. He is: ✅ Neutered ✅ Vaccinated ✅ House-trained ✅ Lead-trained ✅ Knows basic commands ✅ Good with children ✅ Good with other dogs Although Monty is wary of cats, he is not aggressive towards them. A cat-free home would likely suit him best. Sadly, through no fault of his own, Monty's family have had to make the difficult decision to find him a new home. They simply want him to have the loving, secure future that every dog deserves. Monty would suit a home where he'll be included as part of the family, enjoy regular walks and have plenty of companionship. In return, you'll gain a loyal, affectionate friend who is ready to settle into his new life.

    Rocky

    Cat · Male

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Meet Rocky – The classical music lover. Rocky is estimated to be just over 6 years old. He is a very sweet black and white kitty. He really likes classical music, and Dreamies. His other favorite things to do are sleep and look out the window. He loves to sleep on the back of the sofa, or on the armrest. He loves these spots because they’re comfy to look out the window from. He enjoys human company and loves pets. He’ll paw at you to ask for pets. He likes to stay near you but usually doesn’t spend too long on your lap. He has a good appetite and will generally eat everything. His least favorite flavor is turkey though. He especially likes pâté or soft jelly wet food. He doesn’t have all his teeth, so these textures are nice for him, yet he will still eat some dry food and of course treats. He loves to scratch on the scratching mat or post. He likes to maintain his manicure this way. He is a very sweet boy and usually comes to greet you at the door when you arrive home. He wants to say hello and hear about your adventures! He prefers a quieter home and isn’t a fan of sudden movements. His life so far has been quite tough, and he has been through a lot. He is missing teeth and only has 1 ear. He is super brave and doesn’t let this get him down! He hopes to find a forever home where he can be a beloved part of the family. • Shmig – Photo 1 of 1

    Shmig

    Cat · 7 years · Female

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Meet Shmig Shmig is a warm, sociable young lady (7 years young) who loves company and isn't shy about asking for affection. She'll find you, she'll nudge you, and she'll make herself completely at home — probably on your lap. She's playful, resilient, and thoroughly unbothered by her own differences. Shmig has a neurological condition that affects her balance, giving her a distinctive wobbly walk. It doesn't slow her down and it doesn't dampen her spirit — she plays, she explores, and she gets where she wants to go. She just does it with a little extra character. Her condition doesn't require any medication or additional daily care. What she needs most is a loving, accepting home where she can move at her own pace, without pressure or loud disruption. If you've ever wanted a cat with a genuine personality and a story — Shmig is that cat. A little something to know Shmig has a sensitive digestive system and will need an adopter who is comfortable with occasional dizzy spells — something her current foster manages calmly and without fuss. It's part of who she is, and the right person won't mind a bit. The right home for Shmig 🐾 Special needs kitty — patience and understanding a must 👧 Older children only — a calm household suits her best 🏠 Indoor only — she needs a safe, secure environment 🐱 Only pet or gentle companion — no boisterous dogs or dominant cats

  • Oscar & Sam – Photo 1 of 1
    Pair

    Oscar & Sam

    Cat · Male

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

For the first four months of their lives, Sam and Oscar learned one thing: the world was something to be afraid of. Born into a colony in a busy Dundalk car park, they survived by hiding, dodging cars, and sticking close to each other. By the time they were finally trapped and brought to safety, they were terrified of people, riddled with parasites and ear mites, and had never known what it felt like to be someone’s beloved little cats. And then, slowly, something beautiful happened. Sam decided to give humans a chance. He discovered full bowls, warm beds, and belly rubs — and it turns out he absolutely LOVES all three. He purrs, he cuddles, and he has thrown himself wholeheartedly into this new idea that humans might actually be pretty wonderful. Oscar is still learning. He is the more frightened little brother. New things are scary. People are still scary sometimes. But when Oscar doesn’t know whether to be brave, he looks at Sam. Sam is his protector, his confidant and the little piece of home he has carried with him through everything. Separate them and they cry for each other. For four months, these boys had nobody looking out for them but each other. Now we want to find the person who looks at them and says, “You don’t have to look after yourselves anymore. I’ve got you.” Their perfect home will need patience. Oscar won’t walk through the door and immediately understand that his frightening days are over. But every day, he is learning. And with Sam beside him and the right person loving him, we know he’ll get there. They survived their beginning together. Now we need someone extraordinary to give them the ending they deserve, together, safe, spoiled rotten and loved for the rest of their lives. • Mila – Photo 1 of 1

    Mila

    Cat · Female

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Say hello to Mila, a stunning calico mama cat with the sweetest soul! Mila has had a busy time raising her little family, and now it is her turn to be pampered. She is a gentle, quiet girl who prefers soft routines and cozy spots where she can sit back and watch the world go by at her own pace. Wet food is the absolute key to her heart! Mila is a shy lady who finds loud noises, the TV, and fast movements a bit scary. She might give a soft hiss when she feels frightened, but she has made amazing progress in foster care—trading her growls for soft, happy purrs! She finds comfort in the company of other cats, so she will need a quiet home with a friendly resident cat to show her the ropes and help her feel secure. Watching Mila gain confidence day by day is deeply rewarding. She will require spaying once she settles in, and with a patient human, she is going to blossom into the most loving companion. • Atlas – Photo 1 of 1

    Atlas

    Cat · 8 years · Male

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Meet Atlas – This kitty wants to settle down and enjoy the indoor cat life. Atlas is an estimated 8-year-old cat whose history is a bit of a mystery. He showed up in a kind person's garden about a year ago but left soon after. Then a few weeks ago, he showed back up. The kind person noticed him and brought him to the vet as he wasn’t in the best state. He has made major improvements thus far. He gets on very well with people. He is very sweet and loves to make biscuits. He even let himself get a bath! He unfortunately is a stray, likely from a TNR colony and doesn’t get along with other cats. He would be best suited to being the only pet in the household. Perhaps he noticed that this person has cats and looks after them super well, and so he thought maybe they could help him find a nice forever home too. He now has a plan in place to find his forever home and is very excited to meet his new family. He loves to sleep and eat and just be near his forever person. He isn’t a very needy cat. He is just super chill and wants to be around you. He is very observant and gets affectionate when he relaxes. He is such a lovely cat and really deserves a happy and safe home to call his own, especially since life as a stray can’t have been easy. He would love to join your family and be the official biscuit maker of the team! The Purr-fect Forever Home Older child friendly Solo ruler Indoor Only Special needs kitty – He has symptoms of asthma, a slight heart murmur, and also a fractured hip. He currently doesn’t require medications for these, however that could change in the future. NOTE: Cat(s) are not in CDPA care

    Edward and Alphonse

    Cat · 19 months · Male

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Alphonse and Edward are two handsome 19-month-old brothers looking for a loving home together. Both boys are ready to bring lots of love and laughter to their forever family! Alphonse loves following his humans from room to room, investigating every nook and cranny, and finding the highest perch to sit on so that he can watch the world go by. Whether he's peeking behind furniture, squeezing into little gaps or sitting on the windowsill, he's always curious about what you're doing. He's also a social boy who enjoys curling up beside his people on the sofa and is quick to make friends with visitors. His favourite toys are anything he can chase and instead of meowing, he often chirps like a bird! Edward is the quieter brother who is happiest observing the world from the comfort of his favourite cat bed before deciding when it's cuddle time. His favourite place to be petted is his belly and chest, and he'll gently hold onto your hand with his paws if you stop too soon! He is easy to please with his favourite toy being an ice cube!! He loves his scratching post, ball toys and playing with Alphonse. Alphonse and Edward are FeLV (Feline Leukaemia Virus) positive. FeLV is a virus that only affects cats. It cannot be passed to people or other animal species. With regular veterinary care, many FeLV-positive cats live happy and comfortable lives. If you're looking for two affectionate, and entertaining companions Alphonse and Edward will reward you with endless cuddles, laughs and friendship. Sally

    Cat · 11 months · Female

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Meet Sally — 11 months old, full of personality, and 100% ready to steal your heart🐈‍⬛😏 👸 Independent queen. She's got toys, she's got hobbies, she's got herself entertained for hours. Low-maintenance bestie energy. 🐱 Head boops > everything. Her hello is a gentle headbutt and a tiny squeaky "mrow". Who can resist that? 👶🐶 Kid-tested, dog-approved. Calm and gentle around young children (toddlers included), unbothered by dogs, and would likely do fine with another cat too — though she's just as happy as an only cat.. 🏠 A little time to settle in. She's spent the last few months in a small space at the vet's, so a bigger home might feel new at first. A patient adjustment period (maybe starting in a smaller room) will go a long way. 🙅‍♀️ No carrying, please. Sally's not a lap cat or a "pick me up" girl — she gives affection on her own schedule, and that's the deal. If you want a calm, gentle, independent little lady who'll boop your forehead and quietly become your whole personality — Sally is it. 🐾 The Purr-fect Forever Home Child-friendly Indoor Dog-friendly (Can be rehomed with dogs) Special needs kitty (Sally tested positive for FIV. Oreo

    Cat · 8 months · Female

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Oreo is a sweet and loyal girl looking for her forever home! Oreo is about eight months old now and is still very much a kitten at heart; she loves to play and zoom about the house but equally loves to cuddle up beside her human buddy and sleep. Oreo is an incredibly chill girl; all she really wants is to curl up beside you in a comfy spot. This cat is a real shadow. She’ll follow you around all day, she just loves company! Oreo loves to play with strings, ribbons and shadows and loves to meow until she succeeds in getting morning snacks! She can be a bit territorial, so she might not be best suited to a house with another cat. She’s also more than a little terrified of the Hoover and of plastic bags. Oreo is a sweet, affectionate and playful little cat who is so eager to meet a new friend and to find her forever home! Hope and Faith

    Cat

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Hope & Faith - Two Fighters Looking for Someone to Believe in Them These two precious babies have already fought harder than most ever should. They were rescued from a colony of more than 30 cats and kittens, where sickness had taken hold. From the moment they came into our care, it was a battle for their lives. There have been countless vet visits, medications, eye drops, sleepless nights, and so much hope poured into these little souls. Today, we're so grateful to say they are finally on the mend Their journey isn't over yet. Both kittens have significant eye issues, and while we're doing everything possible to save their eyes, it is still too early to know the long-term outcome. As they grow, they may require one or both eyes to be surgically removed (enucleation), but that decision can only be made when they are older. What they need now isn't perfection—they need someone willing to love them exactly as they are. These kittens don't know they're different. They still play, cuddle, explore, and purr with all their hearts. They deserve a family who sees beyond their medical needs and recognizes the beautiful, resilient little lives they are. CDPA will support their future adopter by providing access to discounted veterinary rates for their ongoing care, helping to ensure they continue to receive the treatment they need.

    Puddy

    Cat · Female

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Meet Puddy, a clever, independent-minded lady, looking for a kind and understanding human to give her a safe and attentive home. Puddy is a very clever, adventurous girl who loves to spend time outside. Puddy is a little on the wild side, but is the perfect friend for a patient person. Puddy had a difficult start in life; when she was just a kitten, she was attacked by a dog and very nearly didn’t make it. She pulled through, but the event has left her nervous around other animals and people, and she prefers only to take pettings on her own terms. Most of the time she keeps her distance, but when she feels comfortable, she will come and sit with you and even allow you to stroke her head. Puddy gets really anxious if people are too forward with her, but will never attack a person unprovoked. What she needs is a person who can really respect her need for space. Puddy grew up on a farm so she loves the outdoors and enjoys a nighttime stroll in the garden. She also loves to play with laser and wand toys! Puddy has been through an awful lot, but really needs a home where she can feel safe and loved and where there is someone to keep her company, even if it’s from the other side of the sofa. Eddie

    Cat · 2 years · Male

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Meet Eddie, a sweet, affectionate tuxedo cat looking for a family to call his own! Eddie is a beautiful little gentleman, two years old and looking for a safe place where he can be the centre of attention. Eddie is a sweet and loving cat who seeks out cuddles at every opportunity — sometimes even choosing them over breakfast. He loves to be close to the people he trusts and loves nothing more than to be petted and made a fuss of. Eddie would be best suited to a home where he can get plenty of attention, ideally somewhere where there is someone during the day, but he might also be quite happy in a home where he has another cat friend to play with. Eddie is definitely a snoozy cat. He loves napping in a safe, quiet environment. He shows signs of being quite playful too but is definitely at his happiest when curled up on his comfort blanket — which he’s developed a habit of sucking like a dummy! Eddie would be very happy in a home where people have plenty of love and attention to give him; we know that he’ll give all that love right back and then some.
