Monty is a handsome 5-year-old Beagle with a gentle nature and plenty of love to give. Friendly, affectionate and happiest when he's spending time with his people, he's looking for a family who will give him the second chance he deserves. Like most Beagles, Monty enjoys getting out for walks, following interesting scents and being involved in everyday family life. Once he's had his exercise, he's more than happy to relax and enjoy some fuss and attention. Monty is already well mannered and has settled nicely into home life. He is: ✅ Neutered ✅ Vaccinated ✅ House-trained ✅ Lead-trained ✅ Knows basic commands ✅ Good with children ✅ Good with other dogs Although Monty is wary of cats, he is not aggressive towards them. A cat-free home would likely suit him best. Sadly, through no fault of his own, Monty's family have had to make the difficult decision to find him a new home. They simply want him to have the loving, secure future that every dog deserves. Monty would suit a home where he'll be included as part of the family, enjoy regular walks and have plenty of companionship.
