    Broc

    €245adoption fee

    Patterdale · 4 years · Male · Medium

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

4 year old Broc came to us from another rescue. Broc is an active boy and loves being outdoors but could potentially suit apartment living as his foster family reports, he just wants to curl on the couch after his walk. Broc was a great boy, not only in the foster home but on his many adventures with them including some pet friendly cafes! Broc would suit a family with older children or an adult who is equally up for a game of fetch! Is Broc the boy for you? €245adoption fee

    Collie · 4 years · Female · Medium

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

4 year old Trixie came into the NSPCA from another rescue in search of her forever home. She has spent some time in foster and done really well. She can be shy of some people at first so an adult home would be best and she could live with another dog as she adores dogs. Trixie would best suit an area to live that doesn't have busy roads along her walk, she can find lots of moving cars a bit stressful. She is extremely intelligent and will suit an active family that will bring her on regular adventures. Can you offer a special girl the forever home she deserves? Obi

    €245adoption fee

Jack Russell Terrier / Staffordshire Bull Terrier · 6 years · Female · Medium

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

6 Year old Obi, was originally rescued but is back here in the shelter due to her family having a new baby, it has been a tough transition for her as she loved her home comforts. Obi was once a bubbly outgoing girl but the uncertainty she has endured in life has broken her trust in this world, we would love to see that old girl back. An adult home or one with teenagers would be best. She would prefer to be the only dog to gain all the cuddles. A bonus would be a family who loves beach adventures or walks in nature; we have been told the woods are her happy place! Obi has the perfect balance of always being up for an adventure but equally being happy to snuggle on the couch for a cuddle. She is calm enough in the house to be an ideal companion for someone who works from home, she will happily curl at your feet or a nearby couch. This could also make her an ideal dog for an apartment. She is a clever girl, with great basic obedience training as well a a few tricks for good measure! Paw & Spin being her favourites to cash in on a treat! Can you offer Obi her final forever home? 2 year old Tinkerbell has the best smile in the shelter! She is a staffie cross so is considered a pocket bully but this pocket sized girl is bursting with personality. After she is done playimg she loves to tuck herself up in a blanket for a snooze...its adorable!! Here’s what her foster had to say: “Just a few words on Star: she is an amazing girl. • Schweps – Photo 1 of 9

    Schweps

    €275adoption fee

    Harrier Cross · 4 years · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Schweps is a big, bouncy hound who is full of energy and enthusiasm for life! He's never short on excitement. He loves meeting new people and sometimes his hellos are a little too enthusiastic. But with that big personality comes a big heart, and Schweps is eager to connect and learn. This playful boy loves his toys, enjoys exploring the world with his powerful nose, and is always ready for a tasty snack (which is great news for his ongoing training!). Schweps would thrive in an adult-only home with people who have experience with hound breeds and understand his lively nature. He forms very strong bonds with his people so he will need someone home often to help him build up his time spent alone gradually. Schweps is a social boy who loves other playful dogs and could potentially share his home with another dog. But with his goofy charm and loving spirit, he'll be all the dog you need. If you're up for the fun, Schweps is ready to bounce into your life!

    €150adoption fee

    Frenchie · 3 years · Female · Medium

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Gorgeous girl, Mary, arrived to the sanctuary from the pound – so we don’t know much about her background. She is a very sweet, affectionate & loving girl. She adores people but isn’t so keen on other dogs. She walks well on lead and would love a home that can give her some regular walks, training and plenty of love. Mary can become attached quickly to one person and can be unsure when meeting new people – she will need a home that can help her to overcome her fears with some training. Ideally, a quiet home with one or two people & someone at home during the day (must be a Frenchie fan of course!)

  • Piper – Photo 1 of 2

    Piper

    €150adoption fee

    Lurcher · 9 months · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Piper is a 9 month old lurcher. He was covered in mange when we fostered him. We gave him baths everyday with medicated shampoo (so he is well used to baths). He has really settled in himself and has found a personality. He loves people, really friendly and has been exposed to staying in different environments overnight and daycare with other dogs. We trained him good recall from an early age, when we go on walks he sprints around off the lead coming back when called. When walking on the lead he still occasionally pulls so will need some treats and training to walk beside you. He mainly loves to lie on his bed or curl up on the couch for the most part of the day. He’s a lazy lurcher who loves naps but will wake and want to play by himself in the garden sprinting around with toys. He loves attention and doesn’t like to be left alone too long during the day. We crated trained him from a puppy and now he sleeps in a pen that he is used to. He has a good nature, good with people and other dogs. He doesn’t jump up and knows how to sit, lie down and give the paw especially where treats are involved. He is really lovable and after his rough start in life I hope he finds someone who will give him the love he needs. He is fully vaccinated.

  • Rosie – Photo 1 of 2

    Rosie

    €150adoption fee

    German / English Pointer · 3 years · Female

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Rosie is a 3 year old mix of German and English pointers. She is an extremely smart and very easy to train. She is slightly leash reactive with other dogs, we use a Halti collar and lead when walking her. She is better with bigger dogs, off lead in an open space. I would not recommend a household with young children. She would be best suited to a home with teens/young adults. She is very active and would require a minimum 1 hour walk daily so would be best suited to a younger person. She enjoys hiking, woodland walks(walks in general), the beach, her toys, especially tennis balls and treats. She will bark at strangers until she gets to know them, nothing a few treats and playtime won’t fix. Once she gets to know you she is like Velcro, will stick to you and follow you around, she also understands “rest time” and what that means- normally after she gets her walk. She is very energetic. Her vaccines are up to date and I have her paperwork. She will be spayed on the 26/02/26.

    Kylo

    €150adoption fee

    Cane Corso · 4 years · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Kylo is a 4 year old cane corso looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He is house trained and potty trained, can be quite annoying on the lead but doesn’t pull too hard after he’s done his business. He’s a quite anxious dog and unsure of quite literally everything which does show in his behaviour at times but as sides from that he is great. He has never been aggressive with me or towards any strangers or family or friends. He gets quite comfortable with people after a little bit of time and then he’s great after he gets past the anxiousness. He just wants to play all the time even with other dogs, he’s also never been aggressive towards other dogs. Kylo would let a chihuahua bite him before he would even think to bark first.

    Wilby

    €150adoption fee

    Labrador · 5 years · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Wilby is a 5 year old labrador. Wilby is a very gentle boy that loves nothing more than to curl up at your feet and get lots of rubs and cuddles. He lives with two small children and has always been amazingly patient towards them and excellent at cleaning up crumbs they leave! He has never been around cats but is playful with other dogs. He likes to go for a walk but is strong on his lead, he would need some training with this and with recall however, he tires quickly and soon calms down- overall he is a lazy dog. He knows some basic commands such as sit, wait, bed and is fully house trained. He is neutered, worming and vaccines are up to date (boosters due in July). All vet records can be supplied if needed. He is a healthy dog. Maintenance wise he does need his ears to be cleaned out every few weeks to avoid him becoming itchy but he is very compliant to this and is so used to it, he enjoys it. He eats Burns grain free dog food as when he was a puppy he had a delicate tummy, he may have outgrown this but we have just stuck with the food that agrees. Please contact Lisa for further details below.

    Lyric

    €275adoption fee

    Newfoundland Cross · 2 years · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Lyric is a stunning young Newfoundland with a heart every bit as big as he is. Still growing into his enormous paws, this handsome boy greets life with boundless enthusiasm and absolutely adores meeting new people. Every new friend is met with a wagging tail and puppy-like excitement, so his new family will need to be comfortable handling a giant breed and helping him learn that not everyone is ready for such an enthusiastic hello! Like many young dogs, Lyric loves getting out and about and can be quite strong on the lead as he eagerly heads off to explore the world. Hes looking for a family who are committed to continuing his training and helping him develop into the calm, well-mannered companion we know he can be. When its time to play, Lyric is always ready for fun. He loves a game of fetch and is just as happy making new friends over a favourite toy. While Lyric loves people, he can find other dogs overwhelming, so hes happiest walking in quieter areas where he wont meet lots of canine companions. Hed love a family who enjoy hopping in the car to discover peaceful walking routes together, giving him the chance to explore without the stress of busy environments. Lyric is searching for a calm home in a quiet area with a secure garden where he can stretch his legs, play and relax. With time, patience and a consistent routine, were confident hell settle beautifully into home life and become a loyal, affectionate companion.
