Obi

About Obi

6 Year old Obi, was originally rescued but is back here in the shelter due to her family having a new baby, it has been a tough transition for her as she loved her home comforts. Obi was once a bubbly outgoing girl but the uncertainty she has endured in life has broken her trust in this world, we would love to see that old girl back. An adult home or one with teenagers would be best. She would prefer to be the only dog to gain all the cuddles. A bonus would be a family who loves beach adventures or walks in nature; we have been told the woods are her happy place! Obi has the perfect balance of always being up for an adventure but equally being happy to snuggle on the couch for a cuddle. She is calm enough in the house to be an ideal companion for someone who works from home, she will happily curl at your feet or a nearby couch. This could also make her an ideal dog for an apartment. She is a clever girl, with great basic obedience training as well a a few tricks for good measure! Paw & Spin being her favourites to cash in on a treat! Can you offer Obi her final forever home? To adopt a dog from our Dublin center, we highly recommend a visit to our site on Mount Venus Road. We are open Tuesday to Sunday 12-4 and no appointment is needed to visit. You can chat to the team about any suitable dogs for your family, fill in an application onsite and most importantly… meet with any suitable dogs! Alternatively you can fill out an online expression of interest and you will hear from our team via phone or email over the coming days. Please be advised an online expression of interest does not reserve a dog, a visit to the center will still be required to activate your application and you may need to fill in further forms on your visit.
