Meet the beautiful Rosie. Rosie came into the care of MLHR in 2021. She is now seven years old and 16 hands. Rosie is great to handle, lead, groom and for the farrier, Rosie is not trained for riding currently but we feel with the right groundwork and training she would make a nice riding horse. Sweetie came into our care in Feb 2022 as a foal. Sweetie was left with her mother who had died in a stream. Initially Sweetie was extremely shy of people and nervous. She can still be quite shy with new people so she would really benefit form some 1:1 time. She is extremely curious and independent and would make an amazing companion pony. Sweetie is standing at approx 12:2 and is 5 years old. Tory came into our care in Sept 2021 Tory is an Absolute sweetheart. She loves to interact with other animals on the farm. Meet Donal, we rescued him from the pound and is now 8 and a half years old and 13hh. Donal is companion only due to an issue with his back leg, but this does not effect his day to day life. Donal can suffer from sweet itch, so will need a rug at certain times of the year. He will also need to have his weight managed. But Donal really is a fab pony and deserves his forever home. Georgie and Peppa are two very sweet girls who love belly rubs and apples. They are both about 3 years old and have no known behavioural or medical issues. Peppa had an operation earlier this year to correct her misshapen eyelashes which were pointing into her eye and causing some discomfort. Since the successful operation she has blossomed into a brave and affectionate piggie always looking for a cuddle. These girls would be suitable for a family with children as they are very sweet and never show signs of dominance or aggression.
