Say hello to Emmet, a very sweet Shih Tzu cross who we think is around 1–2 years old. Emmet is a lovely little fellow who is ready to find a family to call his own. He has a sweet nature and so much potential to become a cherished companion. Emmet will be neutered this week and will then be ready to head off to his new home. He hasn’t been formally dog-tested yet, but he came into our care with another dog, so living with a canine friend may be possible following a successful meet and green light from the team. If you have room in your home and heart for this sweet boy, Emmet would love the chance to meet you!
Double the dachshund, double the cuddles! Winston and Wednesday are a gorgeous bonded pair of around 6 years old who are absolutely joined at the hip. These two love being together and are looking for a home where they can continue sharing life’s little adventures side by side. They are very cuddly dogs who would love a family to spoil them with affection. Their previous home didn’t work out because they were escaping from the garden, so their new home will need to have super-secure fencing to keep these little adventurers safe. A lovely, secure garden where they can safely pop in and out as they please would be ideal. Winston and Wednesday are looking for a home together, where they can enjoy their garden, their cuddles and all the comforts of family life. Could you offer this special pair their happily ever after?
Esme is a sweet little Chihuahua cross of around 4 years old, and she’s ready to find a cosy home where she can enjoy all the love she deserves. This lovely girl is really clean, loves a cuddle and would be delighted to have someone to snuggle up with. She has so much charm packed into her little frame and is sure to make a wonderful companion. Esme will be available once she has been neutered this week. She could possibly share her home with another dog, pending a successful meet. Could you be the person Esme has been waiting for?
Little Jasper is a Terrier cross of around 5 months old, and he’s looking for a patient, loving home to help him grow in confidence. Jasper can be a little nervous at first, so he’ll need someone who understands that the best friendships take time. With kindness, reassurance and a little patience, he can continue learning about the world at his own pace. He may be able to live with another dog, which could be lovely for him, pending a successful meet. Jasper will also need to be neutered when he’s old enough. If you have the time and love to help a young pup find his feet, Jasper would love to meet you!
This gorgeous little girl is Charlie, a Terrier cross of around 9 months old! Charlie is a very cute and sweet young dog who is ready to find a family of her own. She’s still young, so she’ll need all the usual patience, guidance and love as she grows into the wonderful companion we know she can be. Charlie will be available for adoption once she has been neutered this week. She may be able to live with another dog, pending a successful meet. If you’re looking for a lovely young girl to welcome into your life, Charlie could be the one for you!
Pixie is a beautiful girl, over 2 years old, who is looking for a fresh start and the happier life she deserves. Pixie came to us from a neglectful situation, and while she’s a little shy in the cattery, we think she’ll come around beautifully with time, patience and a little reassurance. She’s an absolutely gorgeous girl with so much potential, and we’d love to see her find a home where she can finally relax, feel safe and learn what it means to be truly loved. Pixie came in alongside other cats, so she may be able to share her home with another feline friend, provided introductions are slow and careful. All Pixie needs is someone willing to give her a chance and let her blossom at her own pace. Could you be the fresh start she’s been waiting for?
Simba is a handsome boy, over 2 years old, who is hoping for a fresh start after coming from a neglectful situation. He’s a little shy in the cattery, but there’s already a lovely way to win him over — a good chin scratch! With patience and gentle affection, we’re hopeful that Simba will continue to grow in confidence and show everyone what a lovely boy he is. Simba came in with other cats, so he may be able to live with another feline friend, provided introductions are carried out slowly and carefully. This lovely boy deserves a chance to leave his past behind and discover the comfort of a safe, loving home. Could you be the one to help Simba start his next chapter?
Tigger is a lovely boy, over 2 years old, who is looking for a second chance at happiness. Having come from a neglectful situation, he’s now ready to find a home where he can feel safe, loved and cared for. He’s a little shy in the cattery, but he has a real soft spot for chin scratches! A little kindness and patience will go a long way in helping Tigger settle in and discover that he has nothing to worry about. Tigger came to us with other cats, so he may be able to share his home with another cat, as long as introductions are slow and carefully managed. We’d love to see Tigger get the chance he deserves — a cosy home, a caring family and all the gentle affection he needs to flourish. Could you be his happy ending?
Gatsby is a handsome boy, over 3 years old, who's looking for a fresh start after coming from a neglectful situation. Everything is still a little new and overwhelming for Gatsby in the cattery, so he can be shy at first. But offer him a gentle head scratch and you’ll soon see his sweet side shining through! Gatsby just needs a patient, understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace, build his confidence and learn that life can be full of kindness and comfort. He came in with other cats, so he may be able to live with another feline friend, provided introductions are slow and careful. We’d love for Gatsby to find the loving home he’s been waiting for — somewhere he can leave his difficult past behind and begin a much brighter chapter. Could you give this sweet boy his chance
Wink is a gorgeous boy, over 5 years old, with a heart as beautiful as his face! Wink came to us after being brought to the vet with an injury that sadly meant he needed to have one of his eyes removed. But that hasn’t stopped him from being an incredibly friendly, affectionate and loving boy! This sweetheart absolutely adores human company and is so trusting that he’ll happily let you hold him like a baby. He’s a real cuddle bug who has so much love to give, and we can’t wait to see him find a family of his own. Wink is FIV-positive, which means he’ll need a little consideration when it comes to choosing his home. He can live as the only cat, or with other FIV-positive cats and will need to be an indoor only boy! His diagnosis doesn’t change what a wonderful companion he is. Wink deserves all the cuddles, comfort and love in the world — and we hope there’s someone out there ready to give it to him. Could this gorgeous boy be the missing piece of your family?
Bonnie is a beautiful Lurcher, around 2.5 years old, who is waiting for someone to give her a chance. Bonnie is an incredibly shy girl who finds the world a very frightening place. When she first arrived with us, even the simplest interactions were overwhelming for her. But slowly, at her own pace, she has been learning that people can be kind. After 17 weeks in the shelter, Bonnie is only now beginning to allow us to gently pet her. It might seem like a small step, but for Bonnie, it’s a huge milestone. Every little bit of trust she gives us is precious, and it shows just how much potential this special girl has when she feels safe. Bonnie needs a very particular home. She will need someone with patience, understanding and realistic expectations who won’t rush her or expect her to become a confident, cuddly dog overnight. She needs the freedom to settle in at her own pace, with every little achievement celebrated along the way. We believe Bonnie could really benefit from living with confident, friendly dogs who can help show her the ropes and give her reassurance as she learns to navigate life outside the shelter. Having a canine companion could help her find her feet, although introductions would need to be carefully managed. As a Lurcher, Bonnie will also need a secure garden with suitable fencing where she can safely explore and enjoy some outdoor time. Bonnie isn’t going to be the easiest adoption, and she may not be the dog who runs up to greet you or asks for cuddles straight away. But for the right person, watching her slowly discover that the world isn’t such a scary place could be one of the most rewarding experiences imaginable. Bonnie needs a special home, with a very special person, who is willing to give her the time she has always deserved. Could you be the person who helps Bonnie finally feel safe?
Koda is a beautiful young Lurcher who is still finding his feet and learning all about the world. He’s at that teenage stage where there is plenty of energy, curiosity and excitement, so his new family will need to be prepared to continue his training and help him learn good manners as he matures. Koda is a sweet boy with a lovely personality, and we’re sure he’ll flourish with the right guidance and consistency. He’ll need a family who understands the needs of a young Lurcher and is willing to put the work in as he grows. Koda is looking for a home with teenage children only and, importantly, no cats. With patience, training and plenty of love, Koda has all the potential to grow into a wonderful companion.
Lenny is a gorgeous Lurcher with a heart of gold who is looking for a loving home of his own. This lovely boy was found wandering the streets alone, and when he came into our care, his skin was in a terrible condition. He’s now looking forward to putting his difficult past behind him and discovering what life in a loving home is all about. Lenny is an absolute sweetheart and loves nothing more than curling up on the sofa with his people. He’s the kind of boy who would happily spend the day beside you, followed by plenty of cuddles. We’re currently assessing Lenny around other dogs. At this stage, we feel he would probably be happiest as the only dog in the home, but we’ll know more as his assessments continue. Lenny deserves a warm, comfortable home where he can finally relax, feel safe and be thoroughly spoiled. Could you be the person to give this lovely boy his happy ending?
Beautiful Kit is an older lady who is finding life in the kennels a little overwhelming. The hustle and bustle is getting to her, and we really feel that what this lovely girl needs now is a quiet, peaceful home where she can relax and be pampered. Kit is a sweet girl who would love nothing more than a cosy spot to curl up, some gentle attention, and plenty of cuddles and affection. She deserves to spend her days feeling safe, comfortable and loved. We would be very happy to consider either fostering or adoption for Kit, depending on what would be the best fit for her. We’re simply keen to get this lovely older lady out of the stressful kennel environment and into a home where she can truly relax. Could you offer Miss Kit the quiet retirement she deserves?
Luna is a beautiful 15-month-old girl with the gentlest soul and so much love to give. Originally rescued from Spain and brought to Ireland, Luna is now looking for a new home through no fault of her own. She has so much affection to share and is happiest when she’s close to her people, soaking up every cuddle, belly rub, and bit of attention she can get. One of the loveliest things about Luna is watching her discover the joys of being a dog. She’s only recently started learning how to play, and it’s been wonderful to see her confidence blossom. She absolutely loves chasing a ball—although she’s still working on the “bring it back and let go” part! For now, she’s much happier proudly carrying her prize around for everyone to admire. Luna is incredibly friendly and sociable. She loves meeting new people, is great with people of all ages, and is always excited to say hello to every dog she passes. Her warm, loving nature makes her a joy to be around. As Luna is not currently based at our shelter, any meet and greets will need to be arranged in advance. If you’re looking for a young dog with a heart of gold, a playful spirit, and endless affection to give, Luna could be the perfect addition to your family.

Smeagol is a lovely 3-year-old Staffie/Pitbull cross who is looking for a fresh start. He came into our care through no fault of his own, after his owner was no longer able to care for him. Smeagol is a really friendly, lovely boy who enjoys spending time with people and is ready to find someone who will give him the love and attention he deserves. We’re still getting to know Smeagol around other dogs and are currently carrying out assessments, so we’re not yet sure whether he could live with another dog. We’ll know more as those assessments continue. Smeagol is looking for a home with older children aged 16+ and a family who will give him plenty of time to settle in and become part of the family. This handsome boy has so much to offer and is ready for his next chapter. Could you be the person he’s been waiting for?

Rusty is a lovely boy who is looking for a foster home or foster-to-adopt placement with someone willing to give him the time and patience he needs to truly blossom. Rusty was making fantastic progress while he was in our centre, but unfortunately, after moving into our main cattery, he became more withdrawn again. Rusty is looking for someone who understands that confidence doesn’t always come in a straight line. With the right environment, patience, and lots of gentle encouragement, we’re hopeful that this lovely boy will continue to come out of his shell and show us his true personality. Could you be the person to give Rusty the time and space he needs to flourish?
Theo is a handsome male Yellow-bellied Terrapin who is at least 20 years old. He has been extremely well cared for throughout his life, but unfortunately his owner is no longer able to look after him, meaning he is now searching for a new forever home. Theo has been used to receiving excellent care and is looking for a special adopter who can provide that same level of dedication. His new home will need to understand the long-term commitment involved in caring for a terrapin and be able to provide the appropriate space, equipment, and environment for him to continue living a happy and healthy life. At 20+ years old, Theo is certainly a long-term companion, and we want to make sure his next home is one where he will be just as loved and well cared for as he has been throughout his life. Could you be the person to give this lovely boy his next chapter?
Terry is a beautiful female Yellow-bellied Terrapin who is at least 20 years old. She has been very well cared for throughout her life, but sadly her owner is no longer able to continue caring for her, so she is now looking for a new home. After so many years with her family, Terry deserves a special home that can provide the same high standard of care and commitment she has always known. She is looking for an experienced and dedicated owner who understands the needs of long-lived aquatic turtles and is prepared to care for her for many years to come. Terry has plenty of life ahead of her and would love to find a forever home where she can settle in and continue to thrive. If you have the experience, space, and commitment to give this lovely girl the wonderful home she deserves, Terry would love to meet you.
Turtle is a gorgeous young cat, estimated to be around 1 year old, who is ready for a new chapter in her life. Turtle is a beautiful young girl, estimated to be around 1 year old, who is ready to find a quiet and understanding home of her own. Turtle originally came into our care to have her babies, and now that her mum duties are over, it’s finally her turn to be spoiled! Turtle spent some time in foster care, where she had been opening up really well. She is an inquisitive and sweet girl at heart, but she is still a little shy and unsure of herself. Turtle isn’t ready to be picked up or fussed over just yet, and she will need someone who is willing to put in the time to earn her trust rather than expecting her to become a lap cat overnight. She needs plenty of patience, understanding and her own personal space, allowing her to come around in her own time. As she becomes more comfortable and learns that she is safe, we’re hopeful that we’ll continue to see more of her lovely personality shine through. Turtle would suit a quiet, calm home with someone who understands that sometimes the best way to show a nervous cat love is simply to give them the time and space they need. She’s already making wonderful progress, and with the right person by her side, we’re sure this sweet little girl has so much more to discover.
