    June

    £287.50adoption fee

Terrier (Border) Cross · 6 months · Female · Small

    Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland

Type of home required: June is a 5-month-old Terrier cross who has come on leaps and bounds during her time in foster. She was extremely nervous when she first arrived, but with the support of her foster carers and the company of another dog, she has grown in confidence and really started to show her playful personality. June is an energetic and fun-loving puppy who enjoys getting stuck into playtime and is a big fan of her toys. She has particularly benefited from having another dog around and has gained a lot of confidence from watching and learning from them. As such, another dog in the home is a must for June. Although June has made fantastic progress, she is still a young pup and will need her new family to continue helping her build her confidence. In particular, she will need gentle encouragement to feel more comfortable walking on lead and experiencing the sights, sounds and bustle of the outside world. Her new family will need to be patient and allow her to progress at her own pace. If you would be interested in June, please fill out an application form and don't forget to "favourite" her! More information: June is looking for a home with another confident and sociable dog, as she has gained so much confidence from having a canine companion around. Her new family will need to be patient and understanding, giving her the time she needs to continue building her confidence at her own pace. June will benefit from ongoing support with general confidence building, particularly when experiencing new places and situations. She will also need help to become more comfortable walking on lead in the outside world and car journeys, with plenty of positive experiences and gentle encouragement. As a young and energetic pup, June will enjoy a family who can provide plenty of play, enrichment and training. She can live with secondary-school-aged children who can understand her needs and give her space when needed. If you're willing to give June the time she needs, you'll have the privilege of watching her grow into an even more confident and trusting companion!

    Jessa

    €275adoption fee

    Lurcher Cross · 1 year · Female · Medium

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Meet Jessa, a gentle and sensitive girl who is continuing to build her confidence. She has already made lovely progress, but she will still need support as she learns more about the world around her. Jessa is still getting used to everyday things such as walking on a lead, so she will need kind and patient adopters who are happy to guide her at a pace that feels safe and comfortable for her. She is also learning about affection and will benefit from gentle reassurance as she discovers how positive these interactions can be. Jessa will need a fully secure garden where she can practise her skills and continue to grow in confidence before exploring further afield. A calm environment, consistent routine, and gentle encouragement will help her feel more secure and open to new experiences. She can live with calm and understanding teens aged 12 and over, who are able to respect her space and allow her to build trust in her own time. Jessa could benefit from living with a calm and social canine companion who can help her navigate the world and continue building her confidence. A friendly, well-balanced dog may provide her with valuable reassurance and companionship as she settles into home life. With patience and support, Jessa will continue to blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion, and it will be incredibly rewarding to watch her confidence grow.

    Morris

    Lurcher · 1 year · Male · Medium

    Co. Clare, Ireland

Morris is only about 1 year old, and is a beautiful fawn Lurcher with the most handsome face. He’s incredibly people-focused, and gentle cuddles are his favourite thing in the whole wide world! Like most Lurchers, he adores his home comforts and will be more than happy to keep you company around the house as you go about your day. Of course, being a young fella, Morris does love a good zoomies session. So we’d love to find him a home with a nice-sized garden where he can stretch his legs and have a good run. He’s very playful and gets along fantastically with all the dogs in his foster home, so ideally we’d love for him to have a canine companion or two. His gentle, calm and playful nature makes him really great with kids. We haven’t tested him with cats yet, but we’d be happy to arrange a cat test for the right applicant. Morris is house-trained, a joy to walk on the lead, a fantastic passenger in the car, and his recall is already excellent too. He really is a dream dog.
