  • Mozart – Photo 1 of 1

    Mozart

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 3 years · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Mozart was admitted into our care back in May after he was found with a cat bite abscess to the right side of his head. After treatment from our veterinary team and some much needed TLC, Mozart is looking to find a very special home! Mozart is a very handsome boy who is full of personality and loves spending time with people! This sweet boy got his musically-inspired name as he just loves to chat and say 'Hello' to everyone at our centre. Mozart is such a friendly kitty and loves everyone he meets, he adores being made a fuss of especially when he gets lots of gentle head rubs and cuddles. He is also full of energy and has a curious, playful side, enjoying playing with his favourite mouse toys and getting involved in all the comings and goings of daily life! Mozart will need a very special home, as he is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which means he has a weaker immune system and will need to be an indoor-only cat . Cats with FIV can still live a happy and full life, but these boundaries help to ensure he is kept safe. It is important that Mozart finds a home where he can be the only cat, however he could potentially live with another FIV+ cat pending gradual introductions in the home. Mozart could live with children 6 years old or older who are used to cats.

  • Horton – Photo 1 of 1

    Horton

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 4 years · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Horton was admitted into our care after he was sadly abandoned outside our centre overnight. Horton is a very handsome boy who is looking to find the right home for him, where he can have his own time and space to settle. He has a nervous nature and can be quite nervous of people, he would benefit from having a hands-off approach initially, allowing him his own time to come out of his shell, at his own pace. Horton will require owners who have experience with nervous cats, that will be patient with him and will take the time to help him build his confidence and trust with people. Horton has a quiet personality, he thrives best in calm environments and although he is initially nervous, he has started to slowly come round in his foster home and will allow for some very gentle and slow handling. He is an independent boy who likes to be able to make his own choices and will approach you if he wants to enjoy some attention. Due to his nervous nature, he would prefer to live in an adult only home as he does not currently like to be handled. Due to his independent nature, Horton would require outdoor access in his new home once settled. It is unknown how he would react with other pets in the home.

    Bill & Ben

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 2 years · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Bill and Ben are two brothers who were admitted into our care after they were sadly abandoned outside our building overnight, they are now looking to find themselves a new home. These two boys are a sweet, bonded pair who would love to find their new home together. Bill is the more confident brother, he has a curious nature and will come out to greet familiar faces in our cattery unit. Ben is a bit more timid, he prefers to take his time to get to know you, but we are confident that once he settles in a home, his affectionate side will start to show. Once settled into their environment, these boys are friendly and playful, often found curled up together watching the world go by. They do both enjoy getting gentle head rubs, however they are not massive fans of being lifted and held and prefer to take it slow. Bill and Ben are searching for a new home where they can continue to grow in confidence together. They will need understanding, patient owners who will allow them their own time to settle and adjust into their new home. They could live with children over the age of 10 years who are used to cats and have a sensible approach. It is unknown how they would react to other pets in the home.
