    Benito

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 12 weeks · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Benito entered out care as a young kitten who was found abandoned. Benito is a very energetic kitten who loves to play with his toys. He has a lot of playful energy so would love a home where he could be provided with plenty of playtime. He is a super sweet and affectionate boy who loves people, he thrives on company and enjoys gentle head rubs. He would love to find a home where his new owners are around most of the day to help him settle and adjust into his environment. Due to his personality, Benito would be best suited to a home with children who have been around cats before and are comfortable with lively, playful kittens. Benito could possibly share his home with another cat or dog pending gradual introductions into the home.

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 4 months · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Aurora was admitted into our care as a young kitten who was found abandoned and sick at only two weeks old. After several months of care from our vet and animal care teams, Aurora is now ready to find herself a new home. Aurora is a very sweet girl who has a playful personality. She is initially quite shy but has started to slowly come out of her shell and shown our team her curious personality. She has a playful and curious nature, and enjoys spending time playing with her toys, getting gentle head rubs and watching the world go by. Aurora could share her home with children who are used to cats and have a sensible approach with handling. It is unknown how she would react to other pets in the home but may be able to share her home with another cat with gradual introductions in the home.

    Apollo

    €80adoption fee

    Cat · Male

    Co. Mayo, Ireland

Apollo is the most velcro cat I have ever met. Due to an incident when he was rejected by his feral mother when he was very little, he has impaired vision in his left eye. Apollo is a very vocal boy! He will mew whenever he wants your attention. He will happily roll around on your lap looking for belly rubs. He is food motivated and clever. His happy place is just snuggled up sleeping with one of his siblings or on a human, purring like mad.

    Chloe

    €80adoption fee

    DSH · 6 months · Female · Medium

    Co. Mayo, Ireland

Chloe is a tiny black-and-white queen with a fancy little moustache that makes her look like she should be running a detective agency in the 1920s. Sadly, Chloe believes she is being held hostage at all times and would like to formally complain to management immediately. This dramatic lady will scream bloody murder if she thinks she’s being ignored, imprisoned, underfed, overfed, looked at incorrectly, or mildly inconvenienced in any way. Despite her Oscar-worthy performances, she absolutely adores pets and attention once she settles in. She’s litter trained, is vaccinated and is looking for a forever home with humans willing to appreciate her unique blend of elegance, chaos, and emotional terrorism. She can take a little while to warm up to other cats, but given patience, she adjusts just fine. If you’ve ever wanted a tiny moustached roommate who acts like a Victorian orphan but lives like royalty, Chloe is your girl.

  • Bagpuss – Photo 1 of 2

    Bagpuss

    €80adoption fee

    DSH · 2 years 4 months · Male · Large

    Co. Mayo, Ireland

This beautiful boy is Bagpuss. He has a sad story and needs a very special place and human(s) Bagpuss lived for many years being fed by residents in a community but very unfortunately, no one got him neutered. Bagpuss was subject to numerous fights as a result and came to us with a badly injured leg and sadly he also has Feline Aids. It is so important to neuter any cat in your care, whether your pet or a stray/feral you are feeding. It literally saves their lives. Thankfully Bagpuss is well and currently not in need of any medical intervention. He would make a gorgeous companion. He would need to live strictly indoors as an only cat but would love to sit and relax and enjoy the company of someone special❤️ Please email your details to info@mayospca.ie ♥️ 🐾

  • Toffee – Photo 1 of 4

    Toffee

    €135adoption fee

Domestic Medium Haired · 1-2 Years · Female · Small

    Co. Longford, Ireland

Toffee is a gorgeous fluffy calico girl, probably just over a year old, and she is absolutely full of life, personality and divilment! This girl is very active and definitely likes to keep her humans on their toes. She has a particular talent for attacking houseplants and knocking anything she can find off shelves and ledges — so a Toffee-proof home is definitely recommended! Toffee would need to be the only cat in the home, but she can live with dogs. She would be best suited to a home without young children, where her big personality and playful antics can be appreciated. We think Toffee would be happiest as an indoor-only cat, where she can safely spend her days playing, exploring, getting into mischief and keeping everyone entertained. She may be a little bit of a handful, but she’s also absolutely gorgeous and has bags of personality. If you’re looking for a beautiful, active, quirky companion who will never leave you wondering what she’s up to next, Toffee is your girl! Reserved

    €140adoption fee

    Cat · 9 years · Female

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Looking for My Forever Retirement Home Hi, my name is Kiki! I’m a sweet 9-year-old girl who is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and litter trained. I originally came to Ireland all the way from America. Through no fault of my own, I need to find a new home. The lovely girls at Cats Aid took me in and found me a wonderful home. Sadly, due to my owner’s health, I now need to find another special home where I can enjoy my retirement. I’m an older lady, and my hearing isn’t 100%, so I can be quite a vocal girl — I do love to chat! My ideal home would be – • An adult-only home • No more than 2 people • I would like to be the only pet • I must be an indoor-only cat • A catio or secure courtyard would be a dream, as I love sitting in the sunshine and watching the birds and bees. I absolutely love getting petted and I don’t mind being lifted. However, if I feel I’m being over-handled, I may sometimes give a little love nip to let you know I’ve had enough. I’m an older girl who likes things on my terms! The girls at Cattery think I’m a very sweet girl. I’m not a big eater and I enjoy wet food, so the girls spoil me with a variety of wet foods along with a small amount of dry food. All I’m looking for now is for someone to give me a quiet, safe and loving retirement home where I can relax, enjoy the sunshine and be loved for the special girl I am. Love, Kiki
