  • Daisy – Photo 1 of 5

    Daisy

    €150adoption fee

    Terrier · 10 years · Female · Small

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Sadly Daisy was surrendered to the shelter, through absolutely no fault of her own. She was a family pet for ten years. Despite being a more mature lady, she still has plenty of spark. She is extremely friendly, adores people and is always happy in the company of the volunteers. She gets on well with other dogs, so can be homed with a male dog pending a meet & greet in the sanctuary. She was previously in a home with small children, however, given her Terrier energy she would possibly be better suited to older children. With daily exercise, regular routine and most importantly a cosy bed, Daisy will thrive in a new home. She would love if someone was at home for most of the day to help her settle in. She really doesn’t ask for much but will give lots of love in return. Daisy may have the rough Terrier look but she has the softest personality. Blanch

    €150adoption fee

    Dachshund X Collie · 2 years · Female · Small

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Blanch came to the shelter as a stray. She was very nervous, frightened and confused. As we don’t know anything about her past history, it has taken some time for her to settle and feel safe. She would benefit from a quieter, adult only home. Blanch will need regular exercise, routine & further socialisation to help build her confidence. She would also benefit from having someone at home throughout the day to help her settle in.

  • Rambo – Photo 1 of 6

    Rambo

    €150adoption fee

    Jack Russell X · 14 years · Male · Small

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Say hello to super, happy chappy Rambo! He was surrendered to the shelter as sadly, he was simply unwanted. He is a really sweet boy, enjoys company, potters around without a care in the world… just wonders when’s it dinner time! As Rambo is a senior boy, he needs someone to just be with him. However, he still has great pep in his step & would benefit from some light exercise during the day. Most importantly, he would love a person to cuddle up with in the evenings. He is an all round gentleman. Adopting an older dog, can be very rewarding; for however long that may be.

  • Kai – Photo 1 of 2

    Kai

    €150adoption fee

    Labrador · 11 years · Female · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Kai is the most beautiful, friendly girl. She is like a big teddy bear & loves her cuddles. She was surrendered through no fault of her own. She is good on lead & would need some regular, sniffy walks throughout the day. She gets on well with the other dogs at the sanctuary so can be homed with another male dog (pending a meet & greet) or on her own. Kai would benefit from having someone home during the day as she loves and needs company.

  • Toby – Photo 1 of 3

    Toby

    €150adoption fee

    Terrier X · 2 years · Male · Small

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Toby came into our care from the pound so we don’t know much about his background. What we do know is that he is a young, energetic & happy little boy. He can be a bit shy initially so we think he may suit a quieter home. He isn’t the biggest fan of every dog he meets so we think he would be best as the only dog in the home setting. He would love if someone was home most of the day to help settle him in. Toby will thrive with consistent training, regular exercise/play & routine.

  • Fred – Photo 1 of 3

    Fred

    €150adoption fee

    Lurcher · 10 months · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Fred came to the shelter as a stray. At just 10 months old, he is still so young and excited for a future filled with new adventures. He is a very affectionate & loving boy, full of fun, very playful and excellent on lead (once he gets that initial excitement out!). Fred will make an amazing companion once given some consistent training, regular exercise/ play, routine and of course, a loving home to feel safe in. Poor Fred can become stressed when left alone for too long – so he will need someone at home most of the day to help settle him in.

    Wilma

    €150adoption fee

    Lurcher · 2 years · Female · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Stunning Wilma came in from the pound, she is a gentle soul. She is lovely with people, good with other dogs and can be homed with another male (of similar size) or will do well as an only dog in the home. She will thrive with routine exercise and positive training, walk well on the lead. No cats or small pets in the home. Older children if any, teenagers preferably. Will need time and patience to help Wilma understand she is safe. She will make a great companion. Should not be left alone for long periods

  • Henry – Photo 1 of 1

    Henry

    €150adoption fee

    Frenchie · 6 years · Male · Medium

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Henry is a 6 year old french bulldog, he is a typical messer French Bulldog, he’s full of fun, silly energy and he’s very affectionate. His happiest place is sitting on your lap on the couch. Henry loves going for walks, most of the time. Like a lot of French Bulldogs he will sometimes refuse to budge. He is not a fan of cleaning and is reactive to mops, hoovers and moving cloths. He just needs to be in another room when you clean. Henry has no problem with anywhere on his face or body being touched but hates having his nails trimmed. He does suffer from seasonal allergies for which he gets medication but is otherwise a healthy dog. He is well socialised around dogs but is not a fan of cats. Henry is very clever and responds to commands like sit, stay, come, got to bed. He will do whatever you want to get treats! He is an anxious dog and gets stressed when there are too many people in the house or when there are loud noises. He would be best suited to a quiet, predictable home with no children or possibly teenagers familiar with dogs. When he gets stressed or overstimulated he can communicate this by jumping and has nipped at hands a couple of times in the past. This is not aggression but a reaction to being overstimulated. He can be distracted by treats or telling him to go to bed. Due to changing circumstances in our family we can no longer give him the attention and quiet, safe space he deserves so we are reluctantly looking to rehome him.

  • Mary – Photo 1 of 3

    Mary

    €150adoption fee

    Frenchie · 3 years · Female · Medium

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Gorgeous girl, Mary, arrived to the sanctuary from the pound – so we don’t know much about her background. She is a very sweet, affectionate & loving girl. She adores people but isn’t so keen on other dogs. She walks well on lead and would love a home that can give her some regular walks, training and plenty of love. Mary can become attached quickly to one person and can be unsure when meeting new people – she will need a home that can help her to overcome her fears with some training. Ideally, a quiet home with one or two people & someone at home during the day (must be a Frenchie fan of course!)

  • Piper – Photo 1 of 2

    Piper

    €150adoption fee

    Lurcher · 9 months · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Piper is a 9 month old lurcher. He was covered in mange when we fostered him. We gave him baths everyday with medicated shampoo (so he is well used to baths). He has really settled in himself and has found a personality. He loves people, really friendly and has been exposed to staying in different environments overnight and daycare with other dogs. We trained him good recall from an early age, when we go on walks he sprints around off the lead coming back when called. When walking on the lead he still occasionally pulls so will need some treats and training to walk beside you. He mainly loves to lie on his bed or curl up on the couch for the most part of the day. He’s a lazy lurcher who loves naps but will wake and want to play by himself in the garden sprinting around with toys. He loves attention and doesn’t like to be left alone too long during the day. We crated trained him from a puppy and now he sleeps in a pen that he is used to. He has a good nature, good with people and other dogs. He doesn’t jump up and knows how to sit, lie down and give the paw especially where treats are involved. He is really lovable and after his rough start in life I hope he finds someone who will give him the love he needs. He is fully vaccinated.

  • Rosie – Photo 1 of 2

    Rosie

    €150adoption fee

    German / English Pointer · 3 years · Female

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Rosie is a 3 year old mix of German and English pointers. She is an extremely smart and very easy to train. She is slightly leash reactive with other dogs, we use a Halti collar and lead when walking her. She is better with bigger dogs, off lead in an open space. I would not recommend a household with young children. She would be best suited to a home with teens/young adults. She is very active and would require a minimum 1 hour walk daily so would be best suited to a younger person. She enjoys hiking, woodland walks(walks in general), the beach, her toys, especially tennis balls and treats. She will bark at strangers until she gets to know them, nothing a few treats and playtime won’t fix. Once she gets to know you she is like Velcro, will stick to you and follow you around, she also understands “rest time” and what that means- normally after she gets her walk. She is very energetic. Her vaccines are up to date and I have her paperwork. She will be spayed on the 26/02/26.

    Kylo

    €150adoption fee

    Cane Corso · 4 years · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Kylo is a 4 year old cane corso looking for a new home through no fault of his own. He is house trained and potty trained, can be quite annoying on the lead but doesn’t pull too hard after he’s done his business. He’s a quite anxious dog and unsure of quite literally everything which does show in his behaviour at times but as sides from that he is great. He has never been aggressive with me or towards any strangers or family or friends. He gets quite comfortable with people after a little bit of time and then he’s great after he gets past the anxiousness. He just wants to play all the time even with other dogs, he’s also never been aggressive towards other dogs. Kylo would let a chihuahua bite him before he would even think to bark first.

  • Wilby – Photo 1 of 2

    Wilby

    €150adoption fee

    Labrador · 5 years · Male · Large

    Co. Dublin, Ireland

Wilby is a 5 year old labrador. Wilby is a very gentle boy that loves nothing more than to curl up at your feet and get lots of rubs and cuddles. He lives with two small children and has always been amazingly patient towards them and excellent at cleaning up crumbs they leave! He has never been around cats but is playful with other dogs. He likes to go for a walk but is strong on his lead, he would need some training with this and with recall however, he tires quickly and soon calms down- overall he is a lazy dog. He knows some basic commands such as sit, wait, bed and is fully house trained. He is neutered, worming and vaccines are up to date (boosters due in July). All vet records can be supplied if needed. He is a healthy dog. Maintenance wise he does need his ears to be cleaned out every few weeks to avoid him becoming itchy but he is very compliant to this and is so used to it, he enjoys it. He eats Burns grain free dog food as when he was a puppy he had a delicate tummy, he may have outgrown this but we have just stuck with the food that agrees. Please contact Lisa for further details below.
