Looking for My Forever Retirement Home Hi, my name is Kiki! I’m a sweet 9-year-old girl who is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and litter trained. I originally came to Ireland all the way from America. Through no fault of my own, I need to find a new home. The lovely girls at Cats Aid took me in and found me a wonderful home. Sadly, due to my owner’s health, I now need to find another special home where I can enjoy my retirement. I’m an older lady, and my hearing isn’t 100%, so I can be quite a vocal girl — I do love to chat! My ideal home would be – • An adult-only home • No more than 2 people • I would like to be the only pet • I must be an indoor-only cat • A catio or secure courtyard would be a dream, as I love sitting in the sunshine and watching the birds and bees. I absolutely love getting petted and I don’t mind being lifted. However, if I feel I’m being over-handled, I may sometimes give a little love nip to let you know I’ve had enough. I’m an older girl who likes things on my terms! The girls at Cattery think I’m a very sweet girl. I’m not a big eater and I enjoy wet food, so the girls spoil me with a variety of wet foods along with a small amount of dry food. She loves chasing her two siblings, running after balls and playing with a wand toy. She loves pets and is happy to sit beside you and keep you company. Ginny is very social and would get on well in a home with adults and children alike. She likes other cats and has no experience with dogs. Ginny eats Felix wet pouches and whiskas dry food but has eaten many different types of food and is not fussy. She loves dreamies. Ginny is litter trained and has had a health check at the vet and is fully vaccinated, wormed and deflead. She will need to be spayed and microchipped when she’s 6 months old. Goose is a little dote and very sweet boy, he loves pets and will keep coming back for more and loves to curl up on your lap and have a nap when he’s not busy playing. Goose loves playing with his two sisters, taking turns chasing each other and wrestling. His favourite toy is a stuffed Christmas tree and he loves playing with a wand toy too. Goose likes other cats and has no experience with dogs. He would suit a home with adults or a house with older children. Goose loves his food and is not fussy, he eats Felix pouches and whiskas dry food but will eat other foods too and loves dreamies. Fraggle (aka Frags, Fraggylicous, Fraggyboy) is a super sweet chonky guy, he is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and aged about 2 years old. Fraggle was rescued with an injured paw. Thankfully with the use of antibiotics it healed up really well. He spent just over a year in the Cat’s Aid cattery before being moved to a foster home that he has been thriving in ever since. He is a complete dote who loves to run around and play; walking around the house chatting and chattering; hanging out with his foster sister; and giving his parents the best cuddles and head bumps. He would do really well with a little pal to play with, plenty of space and someone who will give him lots of attention.

Oliver is gorgeous young black and white aged about ten months old who is now looking for a home. Oliver had a really harsh start in his life, when he came into the care of Cats Aid he was in very poor condition, scared of everything. We got him sorted very quickly with a couple of vet visits and now he doing super. After being in foster care for the past 9 months he has learned to trust people and now he’s the most lovable cat, he loves to be petted once you put your hand on him then he throws himself down to be petted Oliver now even comes over and gives hugs and kisses. Oliver is neutered and microchipped. He will have all his vaccines by May. He is a really lovely friendly boy.

Fifi needs a new retirement home though no fault of her own. She is aged 14 and is a wonderfully affectionate and gentle little girl – a little scatty, shy at first, loves any and every gentle touch, purrs loudly. She is in good health, is very clean, eats well and has always been generally problem-free. She deserves another loving home. Fifi’s is a very sweet-natured girl – a little scatty so tends to run under your feet a bit. That would be a trip hazard especially for an older person or someone with mobility issues I think. She does appreciate a kitty litter in the house – given that she’s a little older. She tends to stay near the house – never roams more than a garden or two away. So, yes, she’s very trouble-free. The only thing that really spooks her is being picked up so she does to be coaxed into a carrier! For an older cat, Fifi is amazingly nimble, fit and slender. Missing a few teeth and maybe a little hard of hearing but very healthy overall with a sleek coat and a great appetite. Loves her wet food, bowl of milk and some Dreamies. The most affectionate girl who purrs loudly, loves cuddling in, headbutting, and curling up on any lap! She loves chatting and has a gorgeous communicative miaow. Fifi is neutered and her vaccines are all up to date.

One of our supporters has a six year old gentle tuxedo cat named Lucy who needs to be rehomed by end of March as they are leaving the country. Here are the details of this very well cared for cat …. We took her from my back garden when she was a year old , we think she was abandoned from the apartment block behind my house because she was neutered and not afraid of humans. We are leaving to go back to our home country for good and we cannot bring her with us unfortunately. So, we are looking for a new home for her. She is a very good and gentle cat. She loves summer and always have sunbathing at the back garden. Lucy is vaccinated and neutered. She is both indoor and outdoor cat, she knows how to use the litter but she always use the end of the garden as her toilet. She never gave us any trouble and helped us especially thru covid times, she has always been a very good companion. Lucy loves fresh roast chicken and baked seabass and she ates both dry and wet food, and of course her treats from Lidl or Tesco. Hope, you can help us to find a new home for our dear Lucy. We are leaving on March 25.

Indoor Only Home Applicants We are a fabulous bonded pair of adult cats called Tilly and Tyson. Tilly is a black and white coloured neutered female aged seven years old and Tyson is a neutered Tabby male aged twelve years old. We are both fully vaccinated and microchipped. We were surrendered to the lovely people at Cats Aid due to no fault of our own. We are now looking for our forever home together with someone that will give us a chance to shine and show the world just how lovely we really are. We would need a indoor quiet home with maximum of two adults with no children and no other animals. The staff in the cattery where we are currently being fostered think that we are fab but they do say that it took us a little time to settle in as we had never been in a cattery situation before. We are fairly independent so we won’t be demanding but we do like human contact and are used to being lifted and petted.

Koda is almost 5 years old and spends her days both inside her home and outside in the garden. Indoor Home Applicants Only! Roxie is a sweet five year old indoor only cat with a gentle soul. She has had a tough start, spending most of her life in a cattery where stress and living alongside her daughter Jemima led to overgrooming and hair loss. Now in a calm foster home, Roxie has truly blossomed. Though she was shy at first, she has become quite affectionate and enjoys quiet company. Once Roxie gets used to people, she thoroughly enjoys a good cuddle and scratch behind the ears. Roxie needs daily steroids to keep her skin healthy, but they’re very affordable at less than 30 cents a day. She’s ready for a peaceful forever home where she can continue to thrive as the only pet, soaking up all the love she’s missed. Roxie is microchipped, fully vaccinated and is spayed. She eats both wet and dry food – she’s on a special low allergen food to help give her skin and fur the best chance to recover from the stress induced over grooming in the past.
