    Ronnie

    Cat · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Ronnie STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY Meet our striking white and grey smokey tuxedo boy Ronnie, who arrived with us as part of the big intake of 62. He took to cattery life without a care in the world and has quickly shown us what a wonderful little character he is! Ronnie is such a lovable soul, but you’ll certainly never be bored with this boy around! He absolutely loves to play and has quite the talent when it comes to ping pong balls, he’s clearly a little Ronaldo in the making and is currently working hard on perfecting his footwork! He’s also a big fan of catnip, which is always guaranteed to bring out his playful side. When he’s not busy entertaining himself, Ronnie is a wonderfully affectionate boy who loves attention. He’s a bit of a little shadow and will happily follow you around, ready to greet you with a nose boop or head bump and accept any fuss that comes his way. Ronnie could live as the only cat but he does have a few special friends here who he enjoys curling up beside for a cosy snooze. If his new home had room for one of his pals too, we’d certainly love to see them head off together. With his playful personality, affectionate nature and big character, Ronnie would make an amazing family cat or a wonderful companion for someone looking for a fun-loving best friend. If you could be the forever home our boyo has been waiting for, please apply below.

Caspian STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY Meet our striking silver boy Caspian, who arrived with us as part of the big intake of 62. Let us tell you a little about this handsome boy… Caspian is a gentle, settled boy who has a lovely calm nature. He enjoys his pets and a good fuss and is happiest when he’s surrounded by all his favourite comforts. A nice, comfy bed where he can curl up into a little ball and snooze to his heart’s content is his idea of heaven. But don’t let his relaxed nature fool you! Caspian certainly has a playful side too! He’s particularly fond of a good game with a ping pong ball and enjoys having some fun when he’s got the zoomies! He also has a rather adorable way of letting you know when breakfast is on its way. As soon as he hears the food being dished up in the morning, Caspian likes to sing his little song to make sure everyone knows he’s ready and waiting for his breakfast! Caspian would thrive best as the only cat in his forever home, where he can enjoy plenty of love, attention and all the cosy comforts he deserves. This handsome boy has such a lovely nature and would make a wonderful companion. We’d love nothing more than to see Caspian find the loving forever home he deserves.

    Lady

    Dog · 1 year · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Meet Lady Meet Lady, a beautiful one-year-old Collie cocker cross who is just beginning to discover that the world isn’t quite as scary as she once thought. Lady is a nervous girl to begin with, but once she gets to know you, she loves you dearly. She can be excitable and frightened, and sadly she hasn’t had much socialisation during her early life. She gets very excited when she sees other dogs at the moment. There’s no badness in her whatsoever — she simply gets overexcited and hasn’t yet learned the right way to say hello. We’re working hard with her, helping her understand how to calmly introduce herself and build positive experiences around other dogs. Once Lady feels comfortable in her environment, she is actually a soft, settled and easygoing girl. She is showing us more of her lovely personality every day, and her progress is wonderful to see. We’re looking for a family who understands that Lady may need a little extra patience and guidance. Someone who will help her build confidence, teach her that the world is an okay place and give her plenty of activity and positive experiences. Children 12+ Ideally an only dog initially With time, patience and the right introductions, she may be able to live with another dog in the future Lady has so much potential. She just needs someone willing to believe in her and help her find her confidence.

Otis STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY Meet Otis, our lovely gentle boy. Otis arrived with our big intake of 62 and has shown us what a settled and gentle boy he is. Otis is a very gentle and quiet lad who enjoys taking things at his own pace. He’s happiest curled up on a cosy blanket or sprawled out on a comfy bed watching the world go by. He particularly enjoys the company of quieter, settled cats he arrived with who are happy to cuddle up together and enjoy a peaceful snooze. Otis is also a very enthusiastic foodie and certainly won’t be saying no when it’s mealtime! This lovely boy hasn’t had the easiest start in life, and we would absolutely love to see him find the loving forever home he deserves. A home where he can be pampered, showered with affection and finally know what it’s like to be truly cherished as part of a family. Otis is such a gentle soul and we know he has so much love to give. All he needs now is someone to give him the chance to show them just how special he is. Could you be the family Otis has been waiting for?

Meet Sebastian Meet our stunning tabby boy, Sebastian! Isn’t he gorgeous? And just look at those whiskers! Sebastian arrived into our care alongside his sisters, Molly and Sophie. When he first arrived, he was quite scared and shy, but it didn’t take him long to realise he was safe and begin warming up to our volunteers. With a little time and patience, Sebastian has really come out of his shell and shown us what a big softy he is. He is a gentle boy who enjoys his fuss and loves a good pet, but he also has a playful side and enjoys nothing more than having a good play and a mess around with the other cats. He is also very fond of his food, with a little chicken making for a particularly delicious treat! Sebastian would thrive in a home with another friendly cat for companionship and to help give him that extra confidence. While feline company would be wonderful for him, he will also happily lap up all the love, attention and interaction his humans have to offer. We think Sebastian is a really special boy who, with the right family, will continue to blossom into the confident and affectionate cat we know he can be.

    Jemima and her babas

    Cat

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Jemima and Kittens STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY This is a very special appeal for Jemima and her two beautiful babies. Jemima is one of this summer’s wonderful mummy cats. She gave birth to her kittens in our care and, sadly, like so many of our young mums, she was only a big kitten herself. Despite her young age, she has been the most devoted and attentive mum from the very beginning, caring for her babies with endless love and patience. The bond between Jemima and her kittens is truly heartwarming. They love to cuddle up together, play with one another, and are rarely far apart. Watching this little family together is incredibly special. Jemima is a gentle, shy girl who truly thrives with feline companionship. Before becoming a mum, she was very closely bonded with other cats, and that same beautiful bond has naturally carried over to her kittens. She is happiest when she has other feline friends around her, and because of the incredibly close relationship she shares with her babies, we would love nothing more than to find them a forever home together. We know finding a home for three cats is a big ask, but we also know just how special this little family is. We hope someone will see what we see and open their heart to keeping them together. If you are in a position to offer Jemima and her two babies a loving, safe home, we would love to hear from you.

  • Charley – Photo 1 of 1

    Charley

    Dog · 7 years · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Everyone meet Charley, a beautiful older Shepherd, estimated to be around 6–7 years old. Life hasn’t always been kind to Charley. When she first arrived with us, she was incredibly frightened. We couldn’t touch her or handle her, and she was underweight and completely unsure of what we wanted from her. But over the last few weeks, we’ve watched something really special happen… Charley has started to blossom. We can now get her on a lead, and she’s beginning to enjoy gentle, sniffy walks. We’re taking everything at her own pace and haven’t pushed her into busy roads or overwhelming environments yet. And that’s exactly what Charley needs from her forever home — time, patience and understanding. A quiet, settled home A secure garden Someone who understands nervous and shy dogs Time to learn to trust and simply be herself The company of another friendly dog could be beneficial Sometimes dogs don’t need big adventures. They don’t need someone who wants to be out doing everything all the time. Sometimes, they simply need their person. Someone who will give them a safe home, a quiet garden, a comfy bed and the freedom to take life at their own pace. Charley is a great girl. She gets on well with the other dogs and, with the right person beside her, we know there is so much more of this lovely girl waiting to emerge. She doesn’t need fixing. She just needs someone who is willing to understand her, trust her and let her learn to trust them. Could you be Charley’s person?

  • Jodie – Photo 1 of 3

    Jodie

    Dog · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Meet Jodie – Please Give This Special Girl Her Happily Ever After Everyone meet Jodie. For many of you, Jodie will be a very familiar face from both our social media and our website. For a long time, we were looking for a home for Jodie alongside her beloved dad, Charlie. Sadly, Charlie passed away a few weeks ago. It has taken me quite some time to even be able to write this post and remove their profiles from the website. Charlie never got the chance to make it home, and that is something we will always be incredibly sad about. But we don’t want the same to happen to Jodie. Jodie has coped incredibly well since losing her dad. Of course, she has been sad and a little down, but the whole team have been surrounding her with as much love, comfort and attention as we possibly can. And now, more than ever, Jodie needs a family of her own. Jodie really doesn’t ask for much. She is a wonderfully loving, gentle girl who is happy with the simple things in life. She loves her big, squishy beds She sleeps with her beloved big blue octopus She enjoys pottering around the garden A couple of gentle 15-minute walks each day are plenty for her She eats well She’s wonderfully clean and keeps her bedroom spotless She loves people and is happy to see everyone Jodie shows very little interest in other dogs, but we feel she would be happiest as the only dog in the home, where she can have all the love and attention for herself. She also loves children. What we are looking for now is something very special — a family who can look beyond the grey hairs on Jodie’s face and see the wonderful dog underneath. Someone who understands that she has lost the companion she knew and loved, and who will give her the security, patience and unconditional love she deserves. Jodie doesn’t need a big adventure. She doesn’t need a busy lifestyle. She simply needs a sofa, a garden, a comfy bed, someone to love her and a family that is hers. She has spent far too long waiting. Charlie never got to go home. Please don’t let Jodie leave us without knowing what it feels like to have a family of her own. If you have room in your home — and, more importantly, room in your heart — for this incredibly special girl, please get in touch. Jodie deserves to be cherished for whatever years she has ahead of her.

    Elodie

    Jack Russell · 2 years · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Little Elodie is around two years old and is a sweet, quiet-natured little girl who can be a little shy when you first meet her. Give her a little time and patience, however, and you’ll soon see her lovely, happy personality begin to shine through. Elodie would ideally love a home with another friendly dog to help build her confidence and show her the ropes. That said, we would consider a home where she is the only dog if her family are around most of the time and can give her all the love, reassurance and companionship she needs. She’s a good girl who could happily live with sensible children aged 12 and over. All Elodie is looking for is a kind and understanding family who will let her settle at her own pace and watch her blossom into the wonderful companion we know she can be.

    Pips marvel puppies

    Dog

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Meet Pip’s Marvel Puppies! Our beautiful litter of 11 Marvel puppies are now 6 weeks old and will be ready to begin their next adventure in just two weeks’ time. Their mum, Pip, is a stunning Staffy cross with the most wonderful temperament. She is incredibly soft, gentle and affectionate, and has been a fantastic mum to her babies. The puppies have clearly inherited her lovely nature and are confident, happy little characters. These puppies are being raised in a foster home where they have been well handled, well socialised and given the very best start in life. They are settled, inquisitive and enjoying everything that comes with being curious young puppies. As they grow, they will need homes committed to all aspects of puppy training, including house training, lead walking, socialisation and ongoing positive reinforcement. Puppies are a long-term commitment, and while they are adorable, they require plenty of time, patience and consistency. Although Pip is a Staffy cross, she is a larger girl, and we expect these puppies to mature into medium to large-sized dogs. We are looking for homes with previous Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Staffy-type breed experience, where adopters understand the breed’s needs and can provide the exercise, companionship, training and lifelong commitment they deserve. Due to their size and typical puppy behaviour, we are looking for homes with children aged 8 years and over. If you feel you could offer one of Pip’s gorgeous puppies a loving forever home, we’d love to hear from you. We carefully match each puppy to the home that best suits their individual personality and the adopter’s lifestyle, ensuring the best possible start to a lifetime together.

  • Sophie – Photo 1 of 3

    Sophie

    Shepherd X · 10 months · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Sophie (Shepherd X) Meet Sophie. Sophie is a 10-month-old young girl with a huge personality and a lot of love to give. She is affectionate, people-focused, very clever and loves being involved in family life. She enjoys cuddles, attention and meeting people, and she will usually assume every visitor has come especially to see her. Sophie is still young and can be very excitable when greeting people. She may jump up at first, but she responds to clear direction and settles once the initial excitement has passed. She has had training and will benefit from an experienced home that can continue with calm, consistent boundaries, lead work, recall practice and plenty of enrichment. She loves her walks and usually has around an hour of exercise each day. Sophie can pull on the lead and will need continued work in this area. Her recall can be good in the right setting, but she should stay on lead or on a long line unless in a fully secure area, as she cannot be trusted around rabbits, small animals or other high-interest distractions. Sophie can be good with other dogs, but she is very playful and excitable at first. She may be best as the only dog, or with a confident, tolerant dog of a similar size after careful introductions. She is not suitable to live with cats, rabbits, small furries or very small dogs. Sophie loves children, but because she jumps up and does not always realise her own size, she would be best suited to a home with older, dog-savvy children only. She is best fed separately from other animals and people, as she can be protective around food and treats. Sophie also appears to have food sensitivities, so her new home should continue with her current diet and avoid chicken and beef unless advised otherwise by a vet. Sophie settles best with company and will need a home where time alone is built up gradually. She can nap in a crate during the day if needed, but she is not used to being crated overnight. Sophie will make a loyal and affectionate companion for the right home. She needs an active, patient and experienced family who can give her structure, training, exercise and plenty of human attention. Age: 10 months Sex: Female Dogs: Possible with careful introductions; best with a confident dog of similar size, or as an only dog Cats: No Small animals: No Very small dogs: Not recommended Children: Older, dog-savvy children only Ideal home: Active, experienced, secure garden preferred, committed to ongoing training Key Needs: Lead work, recall management, enrichment, gradual alone-time training, separate feeding

He’s friendly, well handled, and enjoys human company, making him a wonderful companion for the right home. Although chinchillas are often happiest with other chinchillas, Chinny has always lived as an only chinchilla and is perfectly content on his own. Because of this, we’re looking for a home where he can continue to enjoy life at his own pace. We’re hoping to find him a home with someone who has previous experience caring for chinchillas, so they understand his needs and can provide him with the best possible care. Meet Ollie Ollie is a young Lurcher, around a year old, who is slowly discovering that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. When Ollie first arrived in our care alongside his brother Stan, he was extremely frightened and unsure of everything around him. He clearly hadn’t had the best start in life, but with patience, kindness, and understanding, we’re beginning to see the wonderful dog hidden beneath his worries. Ollie can be nervous and skittish when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, but once he learns to trust you, he is a sweet-natured, gentle boy who will give you his whole heart. Building that trust takes time, but the reward is a loyal and devoted companion. He is making great progress and is learning to walk nicely on the lead, growing in confidence every day. Ollie could happily share his home with another dog, and we feel he would particularly benefit from living with a calm, confident female dog who could help show him the ropes and teach him that life can be fun and safe. Ollie is looking for a quiet, settled home with children aged 12 years and over who are dog-savvy and able to understand when he needs a little space and reassurance. His new family will need to be patient and willing to let him settle at his own pace. For someone prepared to invest the time and understanding he deserves, Ollie will be an incredibly rewarding companion and a very special friend.
