Alfie is a 7 year old American pocket bully. Very affectionate & loving dog, good with kids , loves playing fetch & tug of war . He is house trained ,crate trained , & is also neutered. His only down fall is that he doesn’t get on with other dogs so is suited to a home with no other pets . His also strong on the lead so would need an adult holding leash . How to adopt from West Cork Animal Welfare Group
Read the adoption process and the animal's description, then apply with the adoption questionnaire. When you take a cat home you will be required to read the terms and conditions of adopting a pet and sign a contract agreeing to them; you get a copy of the contract.
Adoption fees
Dogs: we ask for a minimum rehoming fee of €200 for a dog/puppy. The donation goes towards the cost of preparing pets for their new homes: neutering a female dog costs approx. €140 and a male dog approx. €100, vaccinating costs €35 per vaccine, and micro-chipping a dog can cost around €25. Re-homing donations are very important for us to be able to prepare animals to be homed. By law once you have a dog it is required to be licensed; the licence can be obtained for €20 from any post office. Cats: all our cats and kittens are neutered/spayed, vaccinated and wormed before adoption, and we ask for a minimum adoption fee of €60 for a cat or kitten.
