Contact the rescueAbout Wally
Wally is a 9yr old neutered Springer Spaniel. He acts his shoesize not his age, he has a lot of energy but loves cuddles and would make a superb walking partner or for a family with older children. He has been living with another dog for most of his life and after an introduction he should get on well with another dog. He is housetrained and will listen to commands like ‘sit’ and ‘come’ (though he does get overexcited sometimes). He LOVES socks and finding things you thought you lost! Wally loves to play, and is a really happy boy when a ball is involved- though his first love is exploring and sniffing anywhere he can get to. A home in a rural envirnment where he would have a nice sized garden to explore, sniff and play ball would be perfect for him! He isnt keen on being left alone so would benefit from someone that is largely around to apply for Wally, please fill out our Adoption Questionnaire – West Cork Animals

How to adopt from West Cork Animal Welfare Group
Read the adoption process and the animal's description, then apply with the adoption questionnaire. When you take a cat home you will be required to read the terms and conditions of adopting a pet and sign a contract agreeing to them; you get a copy of the contract.
Adoption fees
Dogs: we ask for a minimum rehoming fee of €200 for a dog/puppy. The donation goes towards the cost of preparing pets for their new homes: neutering a female dog costs approx. €140 and a male dog approx. €100, vaccinating costs €35 per vaccine, and micro-chipping a dog can cost around €25. Re-homing donations are very important for us to be able to prepare animals to be homed. By law once you have a dog it is required to be licensed; the licence can be obtained for €20 from any post office. Cats: all our cats and kittens are neutered/spayed, vaccinated and wormed before adoption, and we ask for a minimum adoption fee of €60 for a cat or kitten.
