About Jasper

Meet Jasper - Our Beautiful Long-Haired Dachshund Jasper came to Mastiffs & Mutts through no fault of his own, his family’s circumstances changed and they could no longer keep him. He’s 3 years old and at first he’s a little quiet, shy and timid - he’ll have a little bark when someone new approaches. But give him a minute, especially if you have a treat or two hidden in your pocket and he’ll be your absolute best friend. Once he’s comfortable, his real personality comes out. He’s full of fun and mischief, loves to run around and play, loves a good walk, and his favourite hobby is stealing a sock or two from the washing He’s very good with other dogs and with children. A bit bossy with other male dogs first, but settles very quick, just trying to look all tough guy at first. Jasper is vaccinated, microchipped, de wormed and neutered We are based in Co. Offaly and we only rehome within the island of Ireland (South and North).
