About Leo

Leo is a lovely 4 year old cat who is used to living as an indoor-only pet. She is looking for a new home because her family are about to move house and cannot take her with them. She is neutered and all her vaccinations are up to date. Leo is looking for a home where she will stay as an inside pet. If it is a very safe, rural environment away from a busy road she may, in time, be able to explore outside. She is an easy, affectionate cat who has been living with a sibling up til now. The siblings recently have not been getting on well (since neutering) so it has been decided to rehome them separately so that they can each enjoy all of their owner’s attention and have space of their own. If you would like to apply to adopt lovely Lilly, please fill out the adoption questionnaire on the website. Please note, Lilly is still based with her family in East Cork so anyone who applies would need to know it will be in East Cork they will need to meet her.

How to adopt from West Cork Animal Welfare Group

Adoption fees

Dogs: we ask for a minimum rehoming fee of €200 for a dog/puppy. The donation goes towards the cost of preparing pets for their new homes: neutering a female dog costs approx. €140 and a male dog approx. €100, vaccinating costs €35 per vaccine, and micro-chipping a dog can cost around €25. Re-homing donations are very important for us to be able to prepare animals to be homed. By law once you have a dog it is required to be licensed; the licence can be obtained for €20 from any post office. Cats: all our cats and kittens are neutered/spayed, vaccinated and wormed before adoption, and we ask for a minimum adoption fee of €60 for a cat or kitten.

€60 minimum adoption fee for a cat or kitten. All cats and kittens are neutered/spayed, vaccinated and wormed before adoption.
