Anu arrived with us heavily pregnant, frightened and unsure of the world around her. Thankfully a safe, quiet and peaceful foster home was waiting for her, where foster mum Edel gave her the time, patience and security she needed to relax and raise her beautiful babies. Now Anu has returned to our cattery, while her babies have stayed with Edel a little longer. We would absolutely love to see them all find their forever families soon, so their next chapter can begin. Anu has a naturally gentle and slightly reserved and timid nature. We feel the that she would be best suited to quieter, patient home without boisterous dogs or very young children. How to adopt from Galway SPCA
Apply with the application form for the kind of animal: dogs, cats, and rabbits / reptiles / birds each have their own form, and applications aren't transferable between them. You'll get an email copy of your application. Dog applications are reviewed by the Dog Rehoming Team; not every application gets a reply - shortlisted applicants are contacted within 14 days.

- Dogs: you must be 18 or older.
- Cats: you must be 21 or older, and read the cat rehoming information page before applying.
Adoption fees
Dogs: €250. This covers spaying/neutering, all vaccinations, microchipping, worming and de-fleaing. Cats: €100. This covers spaying/neutering, all vaccinations, microchipping, worming and de-fleaing, and cats over 6 months will have been tested for FIV/FeLV. Rabbits, reptiles, birds and other animals that aren't cats or dogs: no adoption fee.
