Adelle is a dream dog, we absolutely love this gorgeous, gentle lurcher. She has a very soft nature and will make a fantastic pet. Adelle is around 2 years of age and is very easy-going. She is fantastic with all dogs, large or small and will need a home where she has a companion dog. She has the cutest little zoomies when she’s happy and she makes us all smile with her silly bursts! Adelle walks nicely on lead but sometimes lacks confidence when being walked away from where she feels safe. We send her out on roadwalks with plenty of volunteers but she need cajoling and encouragement when she’s alone. Walking with another dog – no problem! Whoever takes Adelle will need to go slowly and help her get over any shyness. Adelle is very clean in her kennel, she is gentle and polite around food, she loves her bed! She is also one of the few lurchers we would consider rehoming to a home where there is a cat, her nature we feel is too soft to pose any real threat. If you would like to apply for this beautiful, happy lady, please read the Adoption Process on our website and apply using the Adoption Questionnaire.

Adoption fees
Dogs: we ask for a minimum rehoming fee of €200 for a dog/puppy. The donation goes towards the cost of preparing pets for their new homes: neutering a female dog costs approx. €140 and a male dog approx. €100, vaccinating costs €35 per vaccine, and micro-chipping a dog can cost around €25. Re-homing donations are very important for us to be able to prepare animals to be homed. By law once you have a dog it is required to be licensed; the licence can be obtained for €20 from any post office. Cats: all our cats and kittens are neutered/spayed, vaccinated and wormed before adoption, and we ask for a minimum adoption fee of €60 for a cat or kitten.
