Contact the rescueAbout Carla
Carla arrived as a stray from the Louth County Pound on the 31st of March 2026. Initially she was overwhelmed, frightened, and struggling with the noise and stress of kennel life. But everything changed the moment she stepped into her foster home. Now she enjoys peaceful walks, quiet corners to unwind, and the freedom to just be herself. These small comforts are helping her confidence grow every day. Carla is a gentle soul, and this foster period is giving her exactly what she needs before she takes the next big step into her forever home. She enjoys leisurely walks. Her confidence grows a little more each day, helped along by the gentle structure and kindness she’s surrounded with.
