About Bramble

Bramble is a sweet, gentle little lady who is still finding her feet in the big wide world. Shes a worried girl who doesnt seem to have had much experience of all the sights, sounds and experiences that life has to offer, so shell need patient, kind adopters who are happy to take things at her pace and help her discover just how wonderful the world can be. Behind that shy exterior, we have a feeling theres a little inner diva waiting to emerge! With time, love and plenty of encouragement, were sure Bramble will grow in confidence and start to show more of her lovely personality. Bramble doesnt seem to have had much experience of walking on a lead, so this is something her new family will need to introduce gently and gradually as her confidence grows. For now, shell need a fully secure garden where she can safely exercise and toilet while she learns this new skill. Bramble can live with gentle teenagers aged 14 and over who understand that she may need space and quiet time, and who are happy to let her approach things at her own pace. She would prefer to be the only pet in the home, where she can have the peace and attention she needs to settle and flourish. Shell also need someone who is home all day initially. As Brambles confidence grows, her new family can gently and gradually help her learn that being left at home alone is nothing to worry about. This will need to be taken slowly and at a pace she is comfortable with. Bramble may need a little extra patience and understanding, but for the person who gives her the time she needs, we think watching this worried little lady blossom into her true, confident self will be incredibly rewarding. We cant wait to see the little diva hiding underneath emerge!

How to adopt from Dogs Trust (ROI)

Apply to adopt online for the dog you're interested in; Dogs Trust contacts you to arrange meeting the dog. Dublin dogs are at the Finglas rehoming centre; dogs elsewhere are in foster care and can't be visited at a centre.

Adoption fees

Our adoption fee is €275 for adult dogs and this fee helps us to cover the costs of caring for over 1,500 dogs every year. Our fee for adopting a puppy under 6 months is €325. This includes the €275 rehoming fee and a reduced €50 online Dog School fee. Our Dog School classes help puppies learn key life skills and teach owners the basic training skills they need to create a strong bond with their new dog. Every dog adopted from Dogs Trust is microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If your new dog is not already neutered at the time of adoption, you will go home with a voucher of €150 towards the cost of neutering a male or €200 towards the cost of spaying a female dog at a local veterinary practice. You will also receive a starter bag of food, a collar and lead. Once they're at home, you'll be able to access advice from the centre team if you need to.
