About Litter of 8 (Heinz 57 (mixed))

🥹🥹 PREGNANT PUPPY UPDATE 🥹🥹 So we have an update on our little pregnant puppy Anna…🥹❤️ Anna was lifted from the pound very heavily pregnant on Thursday night. We suspected she may already be in labour, which we can only imagine was brought on by the sheer stress of the situation she was in. And then, on Friday…8 healthy babies arrived 🥹🐾 Anna did absolutely amazing. She needed a little help along the way, but her incredible foster mum got her through it, and all 8 babies started feeding straight away. Anna’s instincts kicked in immediately and she has taken to motherhood like she was born for it. ❤️ She is SO young, so we honestly had no idea how her little body would cope with labour, or even how her wee mind would cope with suddenly having 8 babies to care for. But she is doing so, so well 🙏🏻 And as for what these babies are mixed with… well, your guess is as good as ours! 🤣 At the minute we have: 🦨 2 skunks 🐹 1 hamster 🐕 4 labs 🐶 1 pug So it’s going to be very entertaining watching these little Heinz 57’s grow and seeing exactly what pops out 🥰 Of course, this should never have happened. A puppy should never have been in a position where she was so heavily pregnant and facing birth in a pound. But we can’t change what happened before she came to us. What we can do is make sure Anna never has to face anything like this again. For now, we are going to support this very young mama, give her everything she needs to raise her beautiful babies, and when the time comes, we will find every single one of them the most perfect homes 🏠 Welcome for the second time, Anna… and welcome to your 8 beautiful little bundles. Sorry for the overload of pictures but it was a busy 24 hours and a lot happened 🫣 You’re safe now sweetie ❤️ To donate to their care for puppy pads, blankies etc and any vet care they need please click our PayPal link below to PM us for bank or vet details ✔️ https://www.paypal.me/friendsofrescue
