About Patrick, Clover & Swizzle

Two brothers with a new little pal to create their trio :) Patrick & Clover are a couple of 2 year old guinea pigs who were originally adopted from us when they were babies. Sadly, their owner moved abroad and could no longer keep them so they are back with us. Soon after they arrived back, little Swizzle came to us as a 5 week old baby and rather than have him live on his own, we wanted him to have company asap. We introduced him to Patrick and Clover and they were very kind and gentle with him – infact little Swizzle was almost bossing them around! The trio have really settled now and have been getting along well. We’re hoping to find a home for all three together where they can continue build their little family unit with their new humans. Thank you for choosing to adopt guinea pigs from the NSPCA. Please make sure to do your research on how to care for a small animal before considering adopting. We recommend guinea pigs be kept indoors with an enclosure that’s a minimum of 160 x 60cm for three pigs with plenty of indoor free roam time. Guinea pigs require proper housing, bedding, food, enrichment, exercise and vet visits. Small animals are not pets for young children to look after, all the family must be on board to look after and care for any new pet coming into the home. We have seen too many being abandoned so please make sure that you are in a position to look after them and provide them with everything they need.
