About Cherie

Cherie is the most adorable little 5-month-old Jack Russell Terrier cross with a huge personality packed into her tiny frame! This happy, bouncy girl is part kangaroo and loves launching herself onto your lap for kisses, cuddles and all the attention she can get. Shes affectionate, fun-loving and sure to keep her new family smiling with her cheeky puppy antics. Cherie is dog social and could happily live with another small, friendly dog who isnt too full-on with play. She can get a little worried if play becomes too boisterous, so shed love a gentle canine companion who understands her boundaries. She would also be perfectly happy as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. Cherie could live with children aged 6 who understand how to be gentle and respectful around a small dog. Shes looking for a loving home with plenty of cuddles, playtime and, of course, a lap to jump onto.

How to adopt from Dogs Trust (ROI)

Apply to adopt online for the dog you're interested in; Dogs Trust contacts you to arrange meeting the dog. Dublin dogs are at the Finglas rehoming centre; dogs elsewhere are in foster care and can't be visited at a centre.

Adoption fees

Our adoption fee is €275 for adult dogs and this fee helps us to cover the costs of caring for over 1,500 dogs every year. Our fee for adopting a puppy under 6 months is €325. This includes the €275 rehoming fee and a reduced €50 online Dog School fee. Our Dog School classes help puppies learn key life skills and teach owners the basic training skills they need to create a strong bond with their new dog. Every dog adopted from Dogs Trust is microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If your new dog is not already neutered at the time of adoption, you will go home with a voucher of €150 towards the cost of neutering a male or €200 towards the cost of spaying a female dog at a local veterinary practice. You will also receive a starter bag of food, a collar and lead. Once they're at home, you'll be able to access advice from the centre team if you need to.

€325 for a puppy under 6 months: the €275 rehoming fee plus a reduced €50 online Dog School fee.
