Sophie

About Sophie

The name Sophie comes from the Greek word for “wisdom,” and seldom has it been more fitting than in her case. Behind that beautiful, fluffy tuxedo coat is Sophie, a gentle elderly lady of over ten years old who has spent her entire life on the streets. Now, she is looking for something she has never had before: a loving home and someone to share her golden years with. Despite spending more than a decade as a stray, Sophie is incredibly friendly with people. She loves being petted and, with a little time to adjust to the comforts of home, she could very well become the ultimate snuggle bug. Sophie would thrive in an adult-only home where she can be the only cat and enjoy all the love, attention and care she deserves. Her eyesight isn't the best, but she gets around well and doesn't let it hold her back. If you think you could give Sophie the cosy, caring home she deserves and make her golden years truly special, you may just gain a wonderful new best friend in return.
