Meet the beautiful Rosie. Rosie came into the care of MLHR in 2021. She is now seven years old and 16 hands. Rosie is great to handle, lead, groom and for the farrier, Rosie is not trained for riding currently but we feel with the right groundwork and training she would make a nice riding horse. Rosie would also make a lovely companion horse.

Sweetie came into our care in Feb 2022 as a foal. Sweetie was left with her mother who had died in a stream. Initially Sweetie was extremely shy of people and nervous. She can still be quite shy with new people so she would really benefit form some 1:1 time. She is extremely curious and independent and would make an amazing companion pony. Sweetie is standing at approx 12:2 and is 5 years old. Tory came into our care in Sept 2021 Tory is an Absolute sweetheart. She loves to interact with other animals on the farm. She is a very calm and friendly pony who would make an amazing companion. She has been best friends with sweetie since the day they arrived together ❤️ Tory is six years old. Meet Nessa. She is a 12.3 companion only pony and she is sixteen and a half years old. Nessa was rescued from the horse pound in 2021 and she was in foal. She had a beautiful little filly and was a super mum to Aifric. Now we would love to find Nessa a loving home of her own. Darius is just fab, fab, fab in everyway💖 He is rising 4yrs old and is approx. 12.2 in height. This boy is an absolute gent in every way, he is great to catch, handle, load and good for the farrier. He truly is an all rounder🤗 We rescued Darius from the horse pound, unfortunately he wasn't in very good condition😔 But now, with so much love and care he has turned inside out💖💖
Meet Lars. He is standing at 129cm / 12.2hh and is a Skewbald gelding. Lars is 3yrs 8mths and would be ready to start training when he is four. Lars is always alert, exceptionally intelligent and has a good sense of self preservation. He is handsome, bright eyed and once he gets to know and trust you, he is eager to please. He is generally easy to handle, enjoys a good groom and, given time, forms a special bond with his special person. He has encountered kids on bicycles, kids playing soccer, vehicles, dogs and sheep and is not bothered by any. He still needs work with handling his feet, but behaves for the farrier when his feet get trimmed. Lars is hardy and can live out all year round so long as there is shelter. He gets a good winter coat and does not need a rug. He doesn't mind wearing a rug if it makes his owner feel better. Lars has a lovely long natural mane and is happy to stand and let you work out and fairy knots. Anyone looking for a handsome pony to teach tricks to should consider this gem. Beautiful Tammy was born at MLHR farm safe and never had to know the hardships some of our other residents have endured. She is 3years old and just under 13hh with plenty of time to grow ❤️ She is a very sweet girl that likes to hang out with her mammy.
