  • Mia – Photo 1 of 8

    Mia

    Collie · 4 years 9 months · Female · Medium

    Co. Mayo, Ireland

Mia originally came to us afraid of her own shadow, and would try to avoid coming near us at all. It has taken a lot of time and gentle perseverance, but she is now at a stage ready to go to her own home where she will have plenty of time to grow into herself. Mia is a gentle girl. Timid initially but will warm up in time. She will need a breed experienced home, who is willing to be patient and give her plenty of time to come around.

Looking for a very special long term foster/retirement home♥️🤞 Gracie is a 13 year old Lab/Beagle. She is bonded with Missy and we would love them to stay together. Because of their advanced ages and some health issues, we are looking for a retirement foster home and will oversee their health/medication needs. These ladies may be elderly but they have so much love to give and would love a loving, quiet home to take things easy♥️🐾 If you would be interested in hearing more or meeting these girls, please email your details to info@mayospca.ie ❤️ 🐾

  • Colin – Photo 1 of 4

    Colin

    €150adoption fee

    Lurcher · 2 years 3 months · Male · Large

    Co. Mayo, Ireland

This handsome Lurcher is a big, sweet boy looking for a home with experienced owners who understand the breed and are confident handling lurchers. We received Colin from the pound and he was quite shy at first. He has recently been neutered, is fully vaccinated, and has also received his kennel cough vaccination, so he’s ready to start the next chapter of his life. As a tall dog, he will require a secure home with high fencing to keep him safe. He enjoys getting out and about, however due to his prey drive and size, he must be walked on lead and muzzled in public settings. He is looking for a committed home that understands his breed and is willing to continue helping him become the best companion he can be. If you have experience with sighthounds and can offer a secure environment with a tall fenced garden, this lovely lad could be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️

  • Zena – Photo 1 of 3

    Zena

    €150adoption fee

    GSD/Collie · 1 year 10 months · Female · Large

    Co. Mayo, Ireland

Zena is nearly 2 years old and through absolutely NO fault of hers, she is looking for a new forever home where she will get the love and attention she deserves. She is a large mixed breed dog, and there is definitely some German Shepherd in there. She would benefit from someone who has experience with the shepherd breed and their desire to form a strong bond with their human as she can get anxious when left alone for long periods of time. Zena is an incredible affectionate girl and loves lots of cuddles. She has lived with a dog previously, so she could share a home with another dog - pending a meet and greet. She has not been cat tested. We would recommend children over the age of 10, and that is only because of her size and the possibility of her knocking smaller children over. We are looking for an indoor home for Zena so that she can become part of the family. She will also need a secure garden. We feel she would be more suited to a rural location.
