  • Mr. Steed – Photo 1 of 1

    Mr. Steed

    €250adoption fee

    ¾ Collie, ¼ Pointer · 11 months · Male

    Co. Kerry, Ireland

Mr. Steed has been called an ideal pet, and some days that seems like an understatement😊 Mr. Steed is very sociable, highly affectionate and super gentle. He loves the company of other dogs, adores children, and, as if all that wasn’t enough, he gets on famously with cats, too😊 The one thing Mr. Steed is not is a chaser, which in the world of pet dogs is always a welcome quality, of course, and just another feather in his cap😉 When it comes to livestock (sheep, pigs, horses in this case), Mr. Steed has proven to be a total gentleman around them, too😊 If you would like to welcome this gem of a pooch into your heart and home, please get in touch with us here below.

  • Lucy – Photo 1 of 1

    Lucy

    €250adoption fee

    Collie · 9 months · Female

    Co. Kerry, Ireland

Lucy is a very special little collie girl – namely, she is deaf. She was born to a fine working dog mama, but since Lucy is hearing-impaired, she will not be able to become a working dog herself. But that’s okay, because Lucy has all the makings of a perfect pet😊 She is simply adorable: she’s very good-natured and exceptionally affectionate, and on top of that she’s always up for fun and playful good times😊 Lucy really likes the company of other dogs and the human smallies: as far as she’s concerned, they’re simply the best! She hasn’t met cats yet, so we can’t tell you how she’d react to them – approach with caution would probably be good advice to begin with😊 If there’s anything in this world Lucy likes as much or even more than her human and canine playmates, it’s food! It doesn’t take much coaxing to get her attention when food’s involved😉 Lucy would benefit from a loving forever home with people who have the time and patience to teach her communication with hand signs and other visual cues. And the good news is that Lucy's already started training with her foster mom and she really seems to enjoy it😊

  • Sumo – Photo 1 of 1

    Sumo

    €250adoption fee

    Rottweiler / Newfoundland X · 18 months · Male

    Co. Kerry, Ireland

Hey everyone, my name is Sumo, I am a lockdown puppy. I am a high energy boy and due to this and my size, I would not suit a household with children under 16 years old. I am a big boisterous boy and would be too excitable for smallies. I like my space and must be in a home as an only dog. Also, no small furies please, the temptation to chase them is too much for me. I am a bit nervous when I first meet new people and I may bark as I am unsure, but when I get to know you, I am just a big puppy truly affectionate and as mad as a hatter , I do love a snuggle. I still need some training on the lead as I am really strong. As they put it, I am a work in progress. I can tell they all love me though as I am a pure rogue. Love Sumo xx

Hi everyone, my name is Harry, I was found roaming the bog with my sister Bonnie. We were both very lucky that we were found and brought to Sera Husky & Animal Rescue. We were very hungry, but we soon had full bellies and were happy again. I love my walks and really enjoy playing with my pen mates. That being said I’d love a human to call my own, to give me all the love and snuggles I deserve and desperately want. Please take a chance on me, I will make the best friend you’ve ever had. I will repay you for your kindness for the rest of my life with my love and loyalty for you. Harry has a lovely and kind natured temperament. He’s a very gentle and sociable young man. Brilliant with other dogs. Harry loves you already — and you’ve only just met through a picture. 🐾 Love Harry xx

    Max

    €250adoption fee

    Collie · 2 years · Male

    Co. Kerry, Ireland

Hi everyone, my name is Max. I am a Covid 19 puppy and unfortunately when my previous family went back to work after the lockdowns, they no longer had any time left for me. I was very sad as I thought they loved me as much as I loved them. One day I was taken from my home and arrived at the vets, then I heard them say to the vet they didn’t want me anymore and to put me to sleep. I was so frightened as I didn’t want to go to sleep, I still have so much life to live! Thankfully the people at Sera Husky & Animal Rescue saved me. I am now enjoying life and have the best time playing with my pen mates. I am a very sociable young champ and would suit an active household. I really enjoy my walks. If you could find it in your heart to give me my forever home, I would be eternally grateful and be the best boy for you. Max is a very sociable one year old and would be a wonderful addition to any household. He gets on very well with other dogs. As he is a young, he requires some training but he’s very smart and learns fast. He is such a sweet boy. Love Max xx “Not all homes should have a dog, but all dogs should have a home”
