  • Curtains & Fringe – Photo 1 of 1
    Pair

    Curtains & Fringe

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 4 months · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Curtains and Fringe are two bonded brothers who are hoping to find themselves a new home together! These two handsome boys were admitted into our care after being found alone as younger kittens who had cat flu. After treatment from our vet team and time spent with our animal care team, these brothers are now ready to start the search for their forever home. Although they were a little shy when they first arrived, their confidence has grown more and more each day as well as their brotherly bond that is a joy to watch! These gorgeous boys have really come out of their shells and are now full of character. They love darting around their pen, climbing to the highest spots they can find, and keeping themselves busy with toys. After burning off all that kitten energy, they're more than happy to settle down in a cosy bed for a well-earned snooze. Fringe is the more confident of the two and is often the first to investigate something new or the first to greet people, while sweet boy Curtains is a bit more reserved and takes comfort from having his brother by his side. Once fully settled and confident in their new home, Curtains and Fringe would enjoy having safe outdoor access, giving them the opportunity to explore the outside world when they are ready. These boys would love homes where they can enjoy plenty of playtime, enrichment, and affection. They could live with sensible, understanding children who are used to cats and are able to give them plenty of space and understand that building confidence in their new home can take some time. It is unknown how they would react around other pets in the home but may be able to share their home with another friendly cat or cat-friendly dog following gradual introductions.

  • Sugar – Photo 1 of 1

    Sugar

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 8 months · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Sugar was admitted into our care as a young kitten who was found after being involved a suspected road traffic accident. After examination by our veterinary team, it was found that he had a fractured pelvis. After several months of cage rest and after getting lots of TLC, he is ready to find his forever home! Sugar is recovering well and nothing holds him back! He is an extremely handsome and sweet boy who adores people and loves getting lots of attention. He loves cuddling up to our staff and volunteers but also has a very playful, boisterous side, as he loves to chase his toys around the room! Due to his pelvic injury, Sugar would be best suited in a calm home, where he could be an indoor only cat initially to allow for close monitoring while he continues to build strength and stability in his pelvis. Once settled into his new home and showing improved strength and mobility, he can then gradually be given access to the outdoors. He would also love a home where his new owners are around for most of the day to help him settle and adjust into his new environment. He would also love to have lots of cosy spots where he can lie back and relax, watching the world go by! Sugar would be best suited to an adult-only home . It is unknown how he would react to other pets in the home.

    Rooster

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 4 months · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Rooster came into our care after being found with his siblings by a member of the public. After receiving lots of care and attention from our animal care team, he is now ready to find his forever home. Like many kittens, Rooster can be a little shy when meeting new people. However, with patience, kindness and a little time, he soon begins to relax and let his playful personality shine through. Once he feels comfortable, he enjoys gentle fuss from his favourite people. Rooster is a curious kitten who loves to play, explore and wrestle with his other feline friends, keeping himself entertained with toys and anything new to investigate. He would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of enrichment, playtime and opportunities to continue building his confidence as he grows. Rooster could live with children who are respectful and experienced with cats. He enjoys the company of other cats and would love to live with another friendly cat or a cat-friendly dog, following careful introductions.

  • Mustang – Photo 1 of 1

    Mustang

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 8 years · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Mustang was surrendered into our care back in January as her owner could no longer continue care for her. When she arrived at our centre she weighed 7.5kg and immediately began her weight loss journey. This was a slow process, but this beautiful kitty has made fantastic progress, now weighing nearly 5kg. Mustang's new family will need to continue managing her weight to help her reach a healthy target. Mustang has spent time in foster care, where she has adapted well to a home environment. She enjoys affection and will happily curl up on your lap, but prefers attention on her own terms and often forms a close bond with one person. She is an active, playful cat who loves teaser toys and is highly food motivated. She enjoys enrichment activities and already knows her name, "sit," and "reach." She currently uses a slow-feeder ball to encourage movement and make mealtimes more engaging. Mustang can become overstimulated, so play and enrichment should be offered in shorter sessions throughout the day. This may improve once she has access to the outdoors after settling into her new home. Mustang is looking for a home where she can be the only pet , as she does not get along with other cats or dogs. She would suit an adult-only home, although she could potentially live with cat-savvy teenagers aged 16 years and older who are sensible around cats.

    Serendipity

    £95adoption fee

    Domestic Shorthair · 4 months · Female

    Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland

This lovely crew came into our care from a multicat colony situation which we were assisting with neutering, and they were unfortunately very unwell with kitten flu. They are now back to full health, and have grown in our care into fabulous kittens! They are within the care of our North Antrim and Glens volunteer team, but we deliver our adopted cats anywhere in Northern Ireland so feel free to apply from anywhere in the country conveniently. Looking for ridiculous affection, unshakable confidence, tiny but mighty zooms... and just a dash of cluelessness? Then look no further than Serendipity! More commonly referred to as Dippy (her normal state), Chicken Dipper (when playful) or Dicken Chipper (saved for when she's at her absolute silliest!) - this girl is full of beans, life and love. Dippy is FIV+, passed onto her from her mother. This is a condition which effects the immune system, but with indoor only living and proper care FIV positive cats can go on to live long, healthy lives! Due to this, she will require an indoor only home, and can only be adopted into a household with other FIV+ cats. Her brother, Danny Phantom, also is FIV+. She immediately decided after being rescued and feeling better, that everyone and everything in life was there to love her! Dippy has the ultimate positive outlook on life - she adores all toys, playing in water, and zooming like there's no tomorrow. She adores affection, and will demand to be lifted for a cuddle or a baby cradle. She follows people around asking for love! She's such a sweetheart, with lots of energy and an adorably chirpy meow. Dippy would be great with children of any age, and loves all animals - she'd love a friend, however due to her FIV+ status other cats in the home must also be FIV+. She is very confident and forward, so any other animals should be very cat friendly as this little lady will go in for a snooze without hesitation! Bonky and Toots

    £75adoption fee

    Domestic Shorthair · 1 year 1 month · Female

    Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland

Bonky & Toots were adopted from ourselves a few months ago, but due to an unfortunate unexpected change in their family's circumstances (no fault of their own) they are seeking a new loving home. Bonky & Toots are fabulous, their previous fosterer remembers them so fondly. They still know and come to their names! They have grown into beautiful young cats, and are as sweet as they always were. Bonky & Toots are hilarious little creatures - full of love and fun! They are very affectionate little cats, and love attention. They have grown into confident cats - Toots still has her happy little kneady feet (her namesake!). Bonky has a benign, non-health related respiratory noise - she still sounds like a little piggy but it doesn't stop her! And plays in her water bowl! They are always purring, and are low maintenance little joys. They just love to be involved and part of the family! Bonky and Toots are seeking an indoor only home, as this is what they have been used to. They'd be great with children, and absolutely adore other animals - they really really love the dog and other cat they have lived with! So we'd actually really like to find them a home with another animal/s, as this is what they know and love - they are such affectionate creatures that thrive with family (human and animal). Both girls are neutered, vaccinated, fully healthy checked, microchipped, their mother was FIV/FeLV negative and they come with 4 weeks free insurance. We also deliver our adopted kittens home as part of our adoption process, so feel free to apply from anywhere in Northern Ireland!

This lovely crew came into our care from a multicat colony situation which we were assisting with neutering, and they were unfortunately very unwell with kitten flu. They are within the care of our North Antrim and Glens volunteer team, but we deliver our adopted cats anywhere in Northern Ireland so feel free to apply from anywhere in the country conveniently. Jimmy & Danny were previously up for adoption seperately, but since siblings have been adopted and their little crew got smaller, Jimmy & Danny have become extremely close and bonded! They are such cute, friendly little boys who have become confident and playful. They rub together like something out of a Disney movie now, and like to chiro to each other as they play! They've become really affectionate. Jimmy & Danny need to be indoor only, for Danny's safety as he is FIV+. They'd be suitable with cat wise children. FIV is a lifelong virus which can effect a cats immune system, but with indoor only living and proper love and care FIV cats now live long, normal lives! Danny is a healthy kitten having overcome his kitten flu, and has no other known health problems. Enquire about Jimmy & Danny via the link below to submit an adoption application form!

    Buttons

    £75adoption fee

    Domestic Shorthair · 13 years 6 months · Female

    Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland

Buttons is within the care of our North Antrim and Glens volunteers, but we deliver our adopted cats home anywhere in NI! Buttons is an affectionate older lady who is ready to settle down and enjoy her elder years. Exceptionally loving, Buttons adores attention and affection! She'll meow, purr, and even gently/politely tap you with her paw for pets if you don't provide them in a timely manner! And she'll never be far away when there's a nice lap available to curl up on. Being a larger lady, her mobility wasn't initially the best due to her size/arthritis - but she's come on leaps and bounds! She still likes her ramp to aid her getting up to bed, but she has now lost an impressive 10% of her body weight since coming into our care and she can now... actually jump! She receives a daily dose of inexpensive medication in her food for arthritis, and has become a lot more active. She's been working hard on her weight loss program, and she will need to continue on her diet in her new home as she's made great progress but still has a bit more progress to make. Buttons is a chill girl who likes to spend her days sleeping and getting cuddles! She likes to play occasionally, especially with anything catnip! And toddles along after you, as she loves to be in company. Her fosterers have described her as having a very 'comforting aura', and would be great company for someone looking for a lower maintenance love, to just enjoy each others time and affection. Her ideal home would be one where she can live a quiet life as the only pet in the household (she wants it all to herself! She's not a fan of other animals). She requires some help grooming areas that she can't reach on her own until she loses some more weight, but she absolutely loves getting brushed and her current weight loss has already really helped. She is indoor only for her safety due to reduced mobility, but could toddle about a truly secure garden - she hasn't shown much interest for the outside since coming into our care, she's more interested in loving her people. Buttons is very child experienced having had kids grow up around her, she is patient and very gentle - so children in the home or visiting the home are welcome!

He loves being in the middle of the action, exploring his surroundings and keeping you company with his fun, easy-going personality. Ralphie adores other cats, and has been used to his sister's company (as you can see he loves grooming friends!), so we are seeking a home with another cat friend for him to have fun with! He would do well indoor only, or could have safe low traffic outdoor access in future once older and settled.

    Cheeto

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 5 months · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Cheeto was admitted into our care along with his sibling as young kittens after being found abandoned suffering from a bad case of cat flu. After treatment, he is now ready to find himself his new home. It took some time for Cheeto to settle into cattery life, as he was initially quite shy and nervous. However after several months within our care, he has started to come out of his shell and shown our team his playful, affectionate personality. He has a playful and curious nature, and enjoys spending time playing with his toys. He can at times still be wary of loud noises and new people so will need a family who understand that he may take some time to settle into a new environment. Due to having cat flu at a young age, Cheeto's lungs sound slightly louder than normal, this is believed to be the result of chronic respiratory damage. This does not hold Cheeto back and he lives a normal life, being a typical, happy, active kitten! He will need to be an indoor-only cat. Cheeto would suit a family who have experience with cats and would prefer to live in a household with children over the age of 10 years old , who understand that it may take him some time to settle into his new environment. It is unknown how he would react around other pets in the household, but may be able to share his home with another cat of similar personality or another cat-friendly dog with gradual introductions.
