  • Guy-AM-I – Photo 1 of 1

    Guy-AM-I

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 4-5 months · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Guy-AM-I was admitted into our care after he was sadly found abandoned outside our centre with his mum and siblings. After time spent with our animal care team, he is ready to find himself a new home. Guy is a very handsome boy who has a timid nature , he enjoys being in the presence of people and is comfortable sharing his space, but prefers companionship and on his own terms. Although he is not a cat who seeks constant fuss or attention, he does like people being nearby and will enjoy gentle head rubs. Guy-AM-I has come on well with our animal care team but can still be wary of new people and unfamiliar environments, he currently does not like to be lifted and handled, so would be best suited to a family who understands that he will need time and space to settle. A calm home with plenty of cosy hiding spots where he can retreat and relax will help him feel safe and secure as he adjusts. Guy-AM-I is a chilled out boy who enjoys the simple comforts in life, he loves a comfortable cat tree, warm cosy beds and a safe space to watch the world go by! He would be happiest in a quieter home environment, rather than a busy household, where interactions could be taken at his own pace. The way to Guy's heart is through his stomach! He loves his food and tasty treats will be a great way to strengthen your bond with him! As he has a more independent nature, once settled, he would be best suited to be able to have the option to explore the outdoors. Due to his temperament, he will need a hands off approach while settling so would not be suited for living with young children . Guy-AM-I could live with other cats with gradual introductions in the home. It is unknown how he would react around dogs.

Domestic Short Hair · 3-4 months · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Arona came into our care after being discovered stuck inside a car engine by a member of the public. Thankfully, she was rescued and after a health check from our veterinary team, and some time in our cattery she is now ready to begin the search for her forever home. Arona is a friendly little girl who, once she knows you, loves people and enjoys gentle head rubs. She can be a little nervous initially, so would love to find a home where her new owners are around most of the day to help her settle and adjust in her environment. Arona could live with children over 10 years old, who are sensible around cats. It is unknown how she would react to other pets in the home, but she may be able to live with another friendly cat or a cat-savvy dog following careful introductions.

Domestic Short Hair · 3 months

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

These gorgeous kittens were found by a member of the public and brought into our care as they were suffering from cat flu. After treatment and spending some time with our Animal Care Team growing in confidence and receiving lots of love and attention, they are now ready to find their forever homes. They can be adopted together or individually. Tairn, Andarna and Sgaeyl are sweet-natured kittens who can be a little shy when meeting new people. Since being in our care, they have come on leaps and bounds with our animal care team, they have playful and lively personalities and enjoy playing with their favourite people. Like most kittens, they enjoy spending their days playing together, exploring their surroundings, and curling up for a cosy nap when playtime is over. They would love a home with owners who can provide plenty of comfortable places to relax and give them the time and space they need to settle in at their own pace. They could live with cat-savvy children and may be able to share their home with another cat following careful introductions. It is unknown how they would react to dogs. *Please note: We cannot reserve individual kittens, appointments are offered on a first come, first served basis.*

  • Mozart – Photo 1 of 1

    Mozart

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 3 years · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Mozart was admitted into our care back in May after he was found with a cat bite abscess to the right side of his head. After treatment from our veterinary team and some much needed TLC, Mozart is looking to find a very special home! Mozart is a very handsome boy who is full of personality and loves spending time with people! This sweet boy got his musically-inspired name as he just loves to chat and say 'Hello' to everyone at our centre. Mozart is such a friendly kitty and loves everyone he meets, he adores being made a fuss of especially when he gets lots of gentle head rubs and cuddles. He is also full of energy and has a curious, playful side, enjoying playing with his favourite mouse toys and getting involved in all the comings and goings of daily life! Mozart will need a very special home, as he is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) which means he has a weaker immune system and will need to be an indoor-only cat . Cats with FIV can still live a happy and full life, but these boundaries help to ensure he is kept safe. It is important that Mozart finds a home where he can be the only cat, however he could potentially live with another FIV+ cat pending gradual introductions in the home. Mozart could live with children 6 years old or older who are used to cats.

  • Horton – Photo 1 of 1

    Horton

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 4 years · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Horton was admitted into our care after he was sadly abandoned outside our centre overnight. Horton is a very handsome boy who is looking to find the right home for him, where he can have his own time and space to settle. He has a nervous nature and can be quite nervous of people, he would benefit from having a hands-off approach initially, allowing him his own time to come out of his shell, at his own pace. Horton will require owners who have experience with nervous cats, that will be patient with him and will take the time to help him build his confidence and trust with people. Horton has a quiet personality, he thrives best in calm environments and although he is initially nervous, he has started to slowly come round in his foster home and will allow for some very gentle and slow handling. He is an independent boy who likes to be able to make his own choices and will approach you if he wants to enjoy some attention. Due to his nervous nature, he would prefer to live in an adult only home as he does not currently like to be handled. Due to his independent nature, Horton would require outdoor access in his new home once settled. It is unknown how he would react with other pets in the home.

    Pickled Onion

    £100adoption fee

    Domestic S.H (short hair) · 2 months · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Meet out litter of Tayto kittens! These kittens are about 9 weeks, and ready to go to their new home! We have: Ready Salted- Female, Tabby. Smoky Bacon- Male, Tabby. Roast Chicken- Male, Tabby. Prawn Cocktail- Female, Black (with some white) Pickled Onion- Male, Black (with some white) All kittens are full of beans and will make a great addition to any home! They have been growing up on foster where they have been exposed to a home environment. **IMPORTANT: Their mum, Tayto, was diagnosed with FIV. We won’t know until the kittens are 6 months old if they are also FIV+. Once they get that age, Assisi will get them F tested to check. As there is a possibility they may be FIV+, we will be rehoming them as if they are. FIV means they will be immunocompromised, and may be higher risk of getting unwell throughout their life. Because of this, they will need to be kept as strict housecats. They need to be rehomed as the only cat in the home, with another one of their littermates, or to a house with a cat that has been diagnosed with FIV. They can live with dogs.**.

    Bill & Ben

    from£90adoption fee

Domestic Short Hair · 2 years · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Bill and Ben are two brothers who were admitted into our care after they were sadly abandoned outside our building overnight, they are now looking to find themselves a new home. These two boys are a sweet, bonded pair who would love to find their new home together. Bill is the more confident brother, he has a curious nature and will come out to greet familiar faces in our cattery unit. Ben is a bit more timid, he prefers to take his time to get to know you, but we are confident that once he settles in a home, his affectionate side will start to show. Once settled into their environment, these boys are friendly and playful, often found curled up together watching the world go by. They do both enjoy getting gentle head rubs, however they are not massive fans of being lifted and held and prefer to take it slow. Bill and Ben are searching for a new home where they can continue to grow in confidence together. They will need understanding, patient owners who will allow them their own time to settle and adjust into their new home. They could live with children over the age of 10 years who are used to cats and have a sensible approach. It is unknown how they would react to other pets in the home.

  • Tayto – Photo 1 of 1

    Tayto

    £100adoption fee

    Domestic S.H (short hair) · 1 year 2 months · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Meet Tayto! Tayto was a stray who chose someone’s house to have her babies in (whom have all been named after Tayto flavours). Tayto has been out on foster with her kittens while they grow up. She has enjoyed being in the home, with lots of space and some doggy friends. While out on foster, Tayto had some health issues. She is on the mend, but after blood tests were done it was found that Tayto is FIV+. FIV isn’t a death sentence- it just means she is immunocompromised. It also means that she will need to be kept as a strict housecat with no outdoor access. This is something she will be more than happy with, as she loves to sprawl out on the sofa, or watch the world go past outside the window. Tayto would be best suited to a home with older children, and could live with a cat-savvy dog. She is a very friendly girl, but she can be a slow burner when it comes to bonding with her person. She took a while to come around to the fosterer- but this could also be because she is having to put must of her energy into raising her chaotic little kittens! Once she is settled in and doesn’t have to think of her kittens anymore, she should show her true personality! If you think you could offer Tayto a home, please get in touch.

  • Eloise – Photo 1 of 1

    Eloise

    Cat · 20 weeks · Female

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Eloise Meet Eloise our beautiful tortie girl. Eloise arrived into our care back in May as part of a very special little family, alongside her mummy Lila, daddy Jack, brother Elroy, sister Ellie and their auntie. Now around 18–20 weeks old, she is waiting patiently for her forever family to find her. Eloise has a sweet and gentle nature and is a lovely little character once she gets to know you. She can be a little nervous around unfamiliar people and in new environments, but once she’s comfortable and settled, her confidence really shines through. She loves all the fun that comes with being a kitten, especially her toys, cat tree and catnip, and she adores curling up with her siblings when it’s time to relax. There’s nothing quite as sweet as finding Eloise, Ellie and Elroy all snuggled up together after a busy day of playing. And of course, Eloise wouldn’t be a tortie without a little tortitude! She has plenty of personality and is sure to keep her forever family entertained as she continues to grow. She’s also a big foodie and is always very excited when breakfast or dinner arrives. Eloise and her family have perfected their little food-time chorus, so you’ll certainly know when they think their dinner is late! Having grown up alongside her family, Eloise would thrive best in a home with one of her siblings or another family member, or alongside another young, playful and friendly kitten or cat. Eloise is ready for a family who will give her the chance to settle in, get comfortable and let her lovely personality blossom even further

    Clooney

    Cat · Male

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Clooney STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY Meet Clooney our gorgeous silver boy. Clooney arrived as one of the big 62 intake. Clooney is an absolute lovable soul with such a wonderful nature. He’s a very gentle, settled and playful boy who really does bring all the traits you could hope for in a feline companion. Clooney is just as happy curling up somewhere comfy and cosy, enjoying some gentle pets and a good fuss, as he is getting involved in some fun! He loves to play, chase his toys and, even better, have a good play with his feline friends. He has a lovely balance between enjoying his relaxation time and showing off his playful side. And when it comes to food… well, Clooney is definitely a foodie! He gets very excited when he hears that breakfast or dinner is on its way, and he’ll make sure you know just how excited he is about it! This handsome big lad has so much to offer and would make an amazing companion for someone or a family. He’s gentle, affectionate, playful and simply a lovely boy to have around. Stacey & Hetti

    Cat

    Co. Down, Northern Ireland

Stacey and Hetti Last summer, Hetti arrived with her five kittens and was already pregnant again. She went on to have another litter here at the rescue, and her kittens, having grown up around people, were soon chosen by their forever families. But Stacey’s story was a little different. Stacey grew up outside with her mummy and the four siblings she arrived with, and was always a little more nervous around people than the others. Her siblings were soon chosen by their forever families, but Stacey was the last one left waiting alongside her mummy. Now, over a year later, she and Hetti are still waiting for someone to see just how special they are. Stacey is inquisitive but apprehensive and needs time to feel comfortable around people. Hetti is much more independent and isn’t a girl who seeks out lots of fuss. What they do have is each other, and their bond is incredibly special. They love playing together, curling up together and simply enjoying each other’s company. They also love the simple things, their cat tree, catnip and, of course, their favourite chicken and tuna treats! These girls are looking for a quiet, patient and understanding home where they can take their time, have their own space and simply be themselves. Most importantly, they need a family who will love them for who they are and give them the chance to feel safe and truly at home. Love doesn’t always look like a cat sitting on your lap or asking to be stroked. Stacey and Hetti deserve a family who understands that and will love them exactly as they are. They have never had a family of their own, and we would love for that to finally change. They deserve to know what it feels like to have a home, feel safe and truly belong. Our girls must be rehomed together to a strictly indoor-only home. Could you be the family Stacey and Hetti have been waiting over a year for?

Butch Cassidy STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY Meet our beautiful silver boy Butch Cassidy and his infamous pinky nose He was one of the 62 cats who arrived with us in our big intake, and this lovely boy has been quietly showing us what a gentle and easygoing character he is. Butch is a settled, laid-back boy who enjoys a nice fuss and gentle affection. He’s not a boy who needs constant attention, but he’s always happy to enjoy some affection and a little time with you before settling back down to relax. One of Butch’s favourite places is his cosy radiator bed, where he can keep warm, relax and watch the world go by. He loves sitting there taking everything in and keeping a quiet eye on what’s happening around him. Butch also has a playful side! He loves a ping pong ball and anything involving catnip is sure to get his attention. And when it comes to treats, he knows exactly what he likes, tuna and chicken are firm favourites! Having come from a situation where he was living alongside 61 other cats, Butch is used to feline company. We’d love to see him rehomed with one of his friends, or into a home with another friendly, playful cat who would enjoy having him around. Butch is a gentle, easygoing boy with a lovely nature, and we’d love nothing more than to see him find a home of his own where he can settle in and enjoy all the little things he loves. He’d be happiest with plenty of cosy spots to curl up, toys to play with, some tasty treats and a family to call his own. Cat · Male

Ricardo STRICTLY INDOOR ONLY Our handsome Ricardo arrived with us as part of the big intake of 62 cats, and this lovely boy has been quietly stealing hearts ever since. Ricardo is one of those cats who is simply a pleasure to have around. He’s settled, easygoing and affectionate, with a wonderfully gentle personality. He enjoys taking everything in at his own pace and can often be found sitting watching the world go by, while keeping a very close eye on what the volunteers are getting up to. When it’s time to put his paws up, Ricardo knows exactly what he wants, a cosy, fluffy blanket to curl up on and enjoy a well-earned snooze. But he’s not always in relaxation mode! Give him a ball and he’ll happily show off his footwork skills, and he’s also rather partial to a little catnip. And then there’s Ricardo’s way of winning you over… He absolutely adores getting pets and scratches, and if he’s really enjoying your company, you might even be treated to one of his sweet little nose boops. Of course, no Ricardo profile would be complete without mentioning his love of tasty treats! Chicken, tuna and mackerel are all very much appreciated, this handsome gentleman certainly knows what he likes! Ricardo really is such a lovely all-rounder. Calm when you want a quiet companion, playful when the mood takes him, and affectionate when he’s ready for some attention. We can already picture him happily settled into a forever home, enjoying his fluffy blankets, tasty treats and plenty of love. Could Ricardo be the handsome boy you’ve been looking for?
