    Scooby

mixed breed · approximately 5 months old · Male

    Co. Cork, Ireland

Meet Scooby! Scooby is an adorable boy, approximately 5 months old and a mixed breed. He’s a sweet-natured little lad who is looking for his forever home. Scooby would benefit from a home with another medium-to-large dog who can match his playful energy and help him learn. His new family will need to continue his training. Scooby is super clean in his kennel, which is a promising sign that he should take well to house training. Scooby has previously lived with a cat. He was keen to play, but when the cat told him off, he quickly learned to respect its boundaries! Scooby is still a young pup with lots to learn, plenty of love to give, and a whole lifetime of adventures ahead of him. Could you be the one to give this sweet boy the forever home he deserves?

    Jackie

    Dog · 18 months old · Female

    Co. Cork, Ireland

JACKIE IS LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME!l Jackie came into our care yesterday after her elderly owner sadly had to surrender her due to health issues. At just 18 months old, Jackie has her whole life ahead of her and so much love to give. She is an absolute sweetheart who deserves a loving family to call her own. Ideally she needs an active home where she can enjoy plenty of walks, playtime and adventures. A secure garden and possibly another friendly dog for company. Jackie will have all her veterinary work completed before adoption, so she’ll be ready to start her next chapter with her forever family. All Jackie needs now is someone to give her the love, security and happiness she deserves. If you can offer Jackie a 5 home, please get in touch! Please share to help this lovely girl find her happy ever after.

    Quota

    greyhound · 5 year old · Female

    Co. Cork, Ireland

**Meet Quota** Yesterday this beautiful 5 year old Greyhound Girl got to leave the pound she had been waiting patiently in as she completed her mandatory 5 day stray time and join us at our kennels Heathlawn. With her racing days over in 2025 we have no idea how Quota ended up wandering the streets but she isnt the first and sadly wont be the last . And despite it being over a week since first picked up ,no one has rang looking for her,no posters have been circulated ,no concerned owners . She deserved better. Yet arnt Greyhounds meant to be protected and kept safe by their very own governing industry ? In receipt of nearly 20million Euros annually from our Goverment to keep their "sport" alive and the welfare of these gentle dogs foremost? We have had many "stray" ,"wandering" and "dumped" Greyhounds come into our care and nobody has ever come looking for them. How is that welfare? How is that safety? How is that traceability and accountability? How is that "doing your job" ? Quota is just the sweetest girl who will now start this new chapter in her life with us and go on to find a loving, forever home with humans that will make a promise to keep her safe always.
