Meet Frodo & Biscuit These lovely boys are both 8 years old and have been together since they were just 8 weeks old. Their family welcomed a child last year and, as circumstances changed, Frodo and Biscuit had gradually started spending more time outdoors. Their owner did not want that life for them and had been in contact with us for some time about finding them new homes, especially with the colder winter months approaching. Frodo & Biscuit HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG, it is not their fault that they are both now looking for their new home at this time in their lives. Both well-behaved, have lovely temperaments, very easy going . We have been very upfront from the beginning that, while we would absolutely love to find them a home together, we cannot guarantee that this will be possible. They are two 8 year-old Beagles, and unfortunately both their age and breed can make finding homes more difficult. We also do not want or need comments about them having to stay together. Our priority is making sure both boys get the best possible future. We will of course try our very best to find a suitable home for them together. However, if the right families come forward who already have another dog and are happy to give a 10-year-old Beagle a loving home, we will consider rehoming them separately. Keeping two dogs in foster for months while suitable individual homes are available also means two foster spaces are unavailable for other dogs desperately needing to come into our care. Frodo and Biscuit are really good boys. They are doing brilliantly with other dogs in foster, are very food motivated, affectionate and loving, and they are used to getting out for their walks. More than anything, we would love to see these two boys settled into warm, loving homes where they can enjoy their senior years as part of a family. Meet ‘Jerry ‘ est 2 yrs old lovely little Jack Russell who is looking for a special family to call his own. Came into our care from local pound ,when elderly owner not able to care for little ‘Jack’ he did live with 2 other bigger dogs prior to coming into our care Since coming into our care … He is a timid little boy who can take a little time to feel comfortable and settle into new surroundings. He needs reassurance and patience while he gets to know you, but once he feels safe, he slowly comes out of his shell and is very happy to enjoy some fuss and cuddles. He’s a very easy-going, independent little chap who is quite content doing his own thing and is never a bother. He has a gentle nature and would love a calm, understanding home where he can take things at his own pace. We feel he may best be the only dog in the home or possibly with another female canine companion He may be shy at first, but with time, patience and lots of reassurance, he will show you what a lovely little boy he really is.
