Josie This sweet girl was found straying with a damaged leg. Unfortunately it was too far gone by the time she was rescued and had to be amputated. She has now recovered from her surgery and is ready to start searching for her forever family. She is an absolute sweetheart who loves everyone she meets and will require unlimited belly rubs from her new family. She is still young and is playful and energetic; she loves soft toys and will happily entertain herself with them. Josie is your typical Sighthound; LOVES her zoomies but ADORES being lazy and doted on when she’s done with them. She could happily live with a canine companion too. Our poor darling Shane is being overlooked and left behind time and time again. Shane has been with us almost 2 months, considering he’s only 5 months old that’s way too long for him to not be in a loving home with a family of his own. His sister, Kirsty, who he arrived with has gone to a lovely home and 3 of his kennel mates while he’s been here have been adopted. We now need to find him a new friend/kennel mate as his last buddy left today for his new home. We don’t want Shane to spend any more time in rescue than he has. He is super sweet, affectionate and playful and would make a wonderful family pet as he loves everyone. Please consider this lovely boy if you’re thinking of adding a new member to your family.

Terry the Terrier Terry was found by a member of the public and never reclaimed so he has arrived at the rescue and is ready to search for his forever home. It appears Terry came from a home as he is well socialised, in good condition and a very friendly chappy. He is sweet as can be and loves a god cuddle with his favourite person. He could possibly live with another dog pending a meet and greet. He would make a lovely addition to any type of family as he’s energetic enough to keep up with kiddies but would also appreciate a calm adults-only home. Paloma Paloma was found with her 3 pups dumped in the countryside and left to fend for themselves. They were covered in mange and had wormy tummies on top of their horrible ordeal. 2 of her 3 pups have gone to brilliant new families and Paloma is almost ready to find her Happily Ever After. Paloma is really only a puppy herself at 1 year old and deserves now to be centre of attention and get all the love directed her way after being such a great mammy to her pups. She is quite playful and loves toys and games and a good potter about her surroundings. She could live with another dog pending a meet and greet and would make a lovely companion and a safe place to finally relax and enjoy being a puppy for once. She is in the process of finishing up her paperwork but is vaccinated, treated for worms and parasites and microchipped. Tails is also STILL waiting! At 8 years old he shouldn’t be in rescue this long. He would make an amazing companion for an older person/people he’s an absolute dote of a dog.

Freddie

Freddie Freddie was adopted from us a few months ago and recently returned due to an illness in the family. He is super friendly and loves people and other dogs equally so could live with another dog in his new home. He very much enjoys a belly rub and won’t be afraid to let you know whenever he’d like one. Due to his breed, German Shepherd x (possibly Malinois), he will need A LOT of exercise and stimulation. He has bags of energy and is a working breed so will not be content lying on the couch or in his bed for most of the day. An active household/owner is an absolute MUST and applications that are not suitable will not be considered unfortunately. He would benefit from someone being at home most of the time at least until he settles in and learns a routine. He is intelligent and already has some basic commands from his previous home. Nelson This little pocket rocket is Nelson who has been with us a couple of weeks and is on the lookout for his forever people. He is a typical curious Jack Russell Terrier who will have a good nose around his surroundings, loves to play with his toys and can occupy himself for quite a while with them. He will be equally happy to relax on his person’s lap and chill out once playtime is over. He loves his walkies and is no bother on a lead. She also loves a treat and will eat any kind you want to give him, he’s not the most discerning when it comes to treats, he’s more like a hoover! He’s friendly and loveable, he enjoys affection and alllll the attention. He would love to be an only dog but could live with a female pending a meet and greet here at the rescue. Cian Cian came in as a stray a few weeks ago and was unfortunately suffering from mange which must’ve been very sore and uncomfortable for the poor pet. He is now recovered and we’re seeing more and more of his personality everyday. Cian is the most affectionate puppy, he absolutely loves cuddles, hugs, being held, sitting on your lap etc. He is the sweetest and would make a wonderful mellow addition to any family. He lives with some other puppies we have here at the rescue at the moment so would have no problem with a k9 companion but would be equally happy to be the centre of attention. Puppies are a 10+ year commitment so please take this into consideration before applying. Cian is microchipped, vaccinated and treated for parasites.
