Jim loves to explore his surroundings and have a good sniff, especially new things! He absolutely loves his toys, especially small squeaky toys. Jim likes other dogs and would be happy to share his home with a canine companion pending successful meets at the centre. Jim would excel in a home with a enclosed garden to potter around. More information: Jim could live with older teenagers or in an adult only home. He will need a family to support him with his ongoing training and a family that can give him patience and understanding. He enjoys meeting new people but will need slow introductions, but once Jim gets to know you, he will be a great family member! Jim can find formal handling worrying, so he will need a family that can continue building this up so he can have a more positive experience. He’s a lovely young dog who enjoys being around people, playing with his toys and meeting other dogs. Finn is a bright boy who already knows sit and paw, is housetrained, and travels well in the car. He’s also very playful and would love a home where he can continue learning, exploring and enjoying all the fun that comes with being a young dog. Finn is good with other dogs and could potentially live with another suitable dog, pending successful meets here at the centre. More information: Finn is very strong on the lead, so his new family will need to be prepared to continue working on his lead manners with patience and positive training. He also finds being left alone difficult, so time home alone will need to be built up gradually. Because of Finn’s size and strength, we’re looking for a home with older, dog-savvy children who are comfortable around large, boisterous young dogs or an adult only home.     Type of home required: This lovely lady is Little Gem. After giving birth to three beautiful puppies and watching them grow, now it is Gem's turn to find her forever home! Unfortunately, we do not have much history of Gem's life before coming to Dogs Trust so we feel she will be best suited to an adult only home. Gem can be a tad shy when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you she will be your closest companion for the rest of her life! She is an affectionate girl who loves a fuss and cuddle, so would prefer to be the only dog in her new home so she can keep all the attention to herself. Gem can be left for short periods, which could be built gradually once she's fully settled into her new home. She would love her own secure garden space where she can run and play to her heart's content! This would also give her a fantastic opportunity to enjoy some of her favourite enrichment activities to keep her clever brain busy! More information: This sweetheart really lives up to her name and has an absolute gem of a personality! She has stolen so many hearts here at the centre and brings a smile to everyone's faces! Gem can be a bit unsure around dogs and has been working really hard on building her confidence and wearing her muzzle during her time at Dogs Trust. She will require ongoing encouragement from her family, but you will be supported every step of the way by the teams here at the centre. Gem is also a big foodie and super intelligent which will be a great help for any training you undertake together! Gem travels well in the car and loves nothing more than a sniffy walk, so we know she will thrive in an active home with quieter walking areas. She is a clever. food loving little character with plenty of personality! She enjoys enrichment games and using her brain, and she absolutely loves tug of war and squeaky toys! Roxie will require limited exercise so a secure garden is ideal for her, enrichment activities are a great way to keep her busy and if there is peanut butter or yogurt involved, even better! Once Roxie is comfortable with you, she loves nothing more than snuggles and belly rubs on the sofa. Rocket has been working very hard to get ready for his fresh start, and he can’t wait to show you what an amazing boy he is! He will need multiple meets here at the Rehoming Centre prior to adoption so that the training team can offer all the tips and tricks for introducing Rocket to his new life. Rocket is best suited as the only pet, and he will need an active, adult only household that most importantly love to have fun! A secure outdoor space would be amazing for him to run around, play and sniff during the day. His adopters should also be able to be at home with him at the beginning, and until leaving time can be gradually increased. More information: Rocket loves to spend time with people and is the friendliest, most loving boy. His favourite thing to do is go on adventures, and he will travel in the car to find the best spots. Rocket’s ideal walking location is somewhere quieter, as meeting lots of other dogs is overwhelming for him. Sol is a very sweet boy who is looking for a gentle and understanding home as he is very nervous of new people and places. Although he is nervous he does warm up to people quickly, he is very sweet, friendly and seeks out attention. When uncomfortable he can show appeasement behaviours so a home that understands dog body language will be beneficial to Sol. Due to a lack of exposure in his early days, Sol finds new things scary and he needs a lot of confidence building around the car, due to this he would be suited to a home with a secure garden and quiet walking areas close to the home. Sol is dog friendly and gets a lot of confidence from other dogs, therefore Sol would prefer to live with a confident dog who can show him the world isn't such a scary place. Sol could also live with dog savvy teens who can respect and understand a nervous dog. Rossi can be nervous of new people and gets overwhelmed by other dogs, therefore we are looking for a calm, understanding adult only home where Rossi is the only pet. He would enjoy a secure garden to call his own and he would prefer to be walked in quieter areas as he loves to have a good sniff on walks and he loves a roll around on the grass. Rossi will require ongoing training to help him build confidence around vet visits, handling, reactivity and car travel. Adopters with short leaving hours would be ideal as Rossi prefers to have human company during the day. More information: Rossi is lovely boy who adores a bum scratch once he is comfortable, he is very playful and loves a squeaky ball. Borris has a few different specific training areas that his adopter will need to be willing to carry on in his new home. These include resource guarding, muzzle wearing and vet handling. Due to these extra needs, Borris will have a fully supported adoption process with our training team, including multiple meets and home visits. Borris is a very affectionate boy who has formed the most lovely bonds with his closest handlers. He is looking for an adult only home where he will get plenty of attention. He can't wait to have a best friend for life! As Borris loves his favourite people so much, he would like it if he has them all to himself. This means that he will need to be the only pet, but he can have dog walking buddies. More information: Borris is a fun loving, adventurous dog who loves to get off-site for adventures! He will need a dedicated adopter that will provide him with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and ongoing training. Lenny is a big foodie and loves his tennis ball, which will both help with his training. Lenny has been learning how to wear his muzzle with confidence! A muzzle has been introduced to his training plan to help him in situations where he can be reactive. More information: Lenny is a sweet boy who is the perfect mix between a smart, energetic Collie, and a snuggly sofa-loving Staffy. He knows lots of tricks, and is fully housetrained. He has also made great relationships with his handlers here at the Centre and always greets them with the biggest tail wags!

She has particularly benefited from having another dog around and has gained a lot of confidence from watching and learning from them. As such, another dog in the home is a must for June. Although June has made fantastic progress, she is still a young pup and will need her new family to continue helping her build her confidence. In particular, she will need gentle encouragement to feel more comfortable walking on lead and experiencing the sights, sounds and bustle of the outside world. He is a classic terrier with a big personality and a lot to say so a peaceful area would suit him best. Olly will thrive in a dedicated adult only home, and although he needs to be the only pet, he has been doing really well with building his confidence around other dogs! This means that he should be able to have dog walking buddies! Also, as Olly doesn’t like traffic passing by, a quiet, rural location will suit him best. Olly has some behaviour quirks that he will need to work on with his adopters and the Centre Training Team, so his new family will need to be ready and dedicated to this process! His adoption process will involve multiple meets here at the Centre, followed up by visits to the home with the Training Team. Olly can spend time alone in the home, but this should be introduced once he has settled into his new routines and environment. More information: Olly has lots of energy for playtime and silliness! He loves to play with water and zoom around wide-open spaces. Another awesome thing about Olly is that he is the smartest boy who loves to learn! He is always challenging himself to add more tricks and skills to his list. He would be an amazing dog for someone with an interest in training, or enrichm.
