Isadora is a loving and spirited young Labrador mix with a heart as big as her enthusiasm for life. Shes a classic goofy lab who wakes up each day ready for fun, adventure, and making new friends. Isadora absolutely adores meeting people and bonds quickly with everyone she meets. Because she feels her emotions so deeply, Isadora can sometimes be a little over-eager with her greetings and may jump up to say hello. Shes still learning how to manage those big feelings, so ongoing, positive training will be important to help her grow into her best self. Isadora is a strong girl on lead and would thrive with an active family who enjoys long walks, hikes, or runs to help her burn off her youthful energy. As shes still very young, shes looking for a dedicated home that will provide consistent training, structure, and routine as she navigates adolescence. Isadora is hoping to find a family who can continue her training and help her learn to manage her big feelings when seeing other dogs out and about. Isadora would love to be the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all of your attention. At this stage, she would be best suited to an adult-only household while her training continues. How to adopt from Dogs Trust (ROI)
Apply to adopt online for the dog you're interested in; Dogs Trust contacts you to arrange meeting the dog. Dublin dogs are at the Finglas rehoming centre; dogs elsewhere are in foster care and can't be visited at a centre.
Adoption fees
Our adoption fee is €275 for adult dogs and this fee helps us to cover the costs of caring for over 1,500 dogs every year. Our fee for adopting a puppy under 6 months is €325. This includes the €275 rehoming fee and a reduced €50 online Dog School fee. Our Dog School classes help puppies learn key life skills and teach owners the basic training skills they need to create a strong bond with their new dog. Every dog adopted from Dogs Trust is microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If your new dog is not already neutered at the time of adoption, you will go home with a voucher of €150 towards the cost of neutering a male or €200 towards the cost of spaying a female dog at a local veterinary practice. You will also receive a starter bag of food, a collar and lead. Once they're at home, you'll be able to access advice from the centre team if you need to.
