Meet Rhoda, a young lurcher with a big heart and a wonderfully confident spirit. Small in size, she carries herself with grace and charm, and absolutely adores human company. Rhoda is an affectionate lady who loves nothing more than a classic lurcher lean, gently pressing into you for closeness and comfort. Out on walks, Rhoda can happily stroll alongside calm dogs, but in her home she would prefer to be the only pet so she can soak up all the love and attention. She is best suited to a quieter setting, ideally a low traffic area or somewhere with peaceful walking routes where she can relax and enjoy her surroundings without too much hustle and bustle. Rhoda could live with teenagers aged 14 and over who understand her playful, exuberant nature and can enjoy her lively personality. A home with a secure garden is a must, giving her the freedom to stretch her legs and enjoy her joyful zooms. With the right environment, Rhoda will make a deeply loving and loyal companion, bringing warmth, fun, and plenty of cuddles to her new home.

How to adopt from Dogs Trust (ROI)
Apply to adopt online for the dog you're interested in; Dogs Trust contacts you to arrange meeting the dog. Dublin dogs are at the Finglas rehoming centre; dogs elsewhere are in foster care and can't be visited at a centre.
Adoption fees
Our adoption fee is €275 for adult dogs and this fee helps us to cover the costs of caring for over 1,500 dogs every year. Our fee for adopting a puppy under 6 months is €325. This includes the €275 rehoming fee and a reduced €50 online Dog School fee. Our Dog School classes help puppies learn key life skills and teach owners the basic training skills they need to create a strong bond with their new dog. Every dog adopted from Dogs Trust is microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If your new dog is not already neutered at the time of adoption, you will go home with a voucher of €150 towards the cost of neutering a male or €200 towards the cost of spaying a female dog at a local veterinary practice. You will also receive a starter bag of food, a collar and lead. Once they're at home, you'll be able to access advice from the centre team if you need to.
