She’s a 9-year-old Akita Cross bursting with love to share. She is a sweet and affectionate girl who adores people and forms deep bonds with those who care for her. She enjoys her walks and is great on the lead, but she thrives in quieter environments. A peaceful countryside home or a small town with access to parks or forests would be ideal for her. Busy city life just isn’t her thing. Fifi would do best as the only pet in the home—she prefers to have all the love to herself! She’s not a fan of cats but would be wonderful with older, dog-savvy children who understand her needs. Could you be the one to finally give Fifi her happy ending? She’s been waiting far too long. How to adopt from Husky Rescue Ireland
Apply online via the adoption form; dogs are matched to suitable homes (many need experienced northern-breed or Akita owners and indoor living). A home check follows, then a meet-and-greet with the dog and a pre-adoption talk; you finalise the adoption and pay the adoption fee, then bring your new dog home.
Adoption fees
Adoption fee: €250. It covers a full vet check, vaccinations, microchip, neuter / spay, rescue back-up for the remainder of your dog's life, and support and advice.
