About Dolly

Dolly is a gorgeous 2-year-old English Bulldog with a heart full of love just waiting for the right family to discover it. This sweet, friendly girl may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once youve earned her trust, youll have a best friend for life. She absolutely adores cuddles and is always generous with her kisses for those she loves. Dolly forms incredibly strong bonds with her people and would be happiest in a home where someone is around for much of the day, as she doesnt enjoy being left on her own for long. She thrives on companionship and loves nothing more than spending quality time with her family. When shes not snuggled up with her favourite humans, Dolly enjoys playing with her toys and heading out for walks in the park, where she can explore at her own pace. Shes looking for a patient family who can continue building her confidence, especially around other dogs, as she can sometimes feel a little unsure when out and about. With gentle encouragement and positive experiences, were sure shell continue to blossom. Dolly could happily live with children aged 8 and over who are confident around larger dogs and understand the importance of giving her space when she needs it.

How to adopt from Dogs Trust (ROI)

Apply to adopt online for the dog you're interested in; Dogs Trust contacts you to arrange meeting the dog. Dublin dogs are at the Finglas rehoming centre; dogs elsewhere are in foster care and can't be visited at a centre.

Adoption fees

Our adoption fee is €275 for adult dogs and this fee helps us to cover the costs of caring for over 1,500 dogs every year. Our fee for adopting a puppy under 6 months is €325. This includes the €275 rehoming fee and a reduced €50 online Dog School fee. Our Dog School classes help puppies learn key life skills and teach owners the basic training skills they need to create a strong bond with their new dog. Every dog adopted from Dogs Trust is microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If your new dog is not already neutered at the time of adoption, you will go home with a voucher of €150 towards the cost of neutering a male or €200 towards the cost of spaying a female dog at a local veterinary practice. You will also receive a starter bag of food, a collar and lead. Once they're at home, you'll be able to access advice from the centre team if you need to.
