Contact the rescueAbout Clement
Clement is a 3-year-old Labrador X. This handsome, friendly boy is happiest when hes busy, and his absolute favourite thing in the world is playing fetch. Hes very good at his drops and swaps, making games with him lots of fun. Clement is social with other dogs and enjoys their company, but hed prefer to be the only dog in his new home. Hed love to continue having regular opportunities to meet up with suitable doggy friends on walks and adventures, helping him keep up his social skills while enjoying some one-on-one time with his family. Clement could potentially live with older children aged 14 , provided they are confident and comfortable around larger, bouncy dogs. Hes an energetic boy who can be quite enthusiastic, so a family who understands and enjoys an active dog would be ideal. His new home will need a fully enclosed garden with high walls or secure fencing. Above all, Clement is looking for an active family who will enjoy keeping his body and mind busy. He would thrive with people who are interested in training, enrichment and learning new things together.

How to adopt from Dogs Trust (ROI)
Apply to adopt online for the dog you're interested in; Dogs Trust contacts you to arrange meeting the dog. Dublin dogs are at the Finglas rehoming centre; dogs elsewhere are in foster care and can't be visited at a centre.
Adoption fees
Our adoption fee is €275 for adult dogs and this fee helps us to cover the costs of caring for over 1,500 dogs every year. Our fee for adopting a puppy under 6 months is €325. This includes the €275 rehoming fee and a reduced €50 online Dog School fee. Our Dog School classes help puppies learn key life skills and teach owners the basic training skills they need to create a strong bond with their new dog. Every dog adopted from Dogs Trust is microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If your new dog is not already neutered at the time of adoption, you will go home with a voucher of €150 towards the cost of neutering a male or €200 towards the cost of spaying a female dog at a local veterinary practice. You will also receive a starter bag of food, a collar and lead. Once they're at home, you'll be able to access advice from the centre team if you need to.
