Contact the rescueAbout Pepe
Pep. is a gorgeous 7.5-year-old Whippet x Husky who has all the charm and personality you could hope for! Hes a loving, affectionate boy who adores his people and, once he gets to know you, will happily become your very own little shadow. Pep. loves getting out and about for walks, taking his time to sniff and explore, and having a good play with his favourite toys. Hes also a very social boy with other dogs and loves saying hello to his pals when out and about, usually accompanied by an enthusiastic play bow and a very happy, waggy tail! Pep. could potentially live with another dog, provided care is taken around food. He likes to enjoy his meals in peace, so hell need a home where his mealtimes can be managed thoughtfully and respectfully. He could also live with children aged 10 , provided theyre comfortable and confident around a bigger, energetic dog. Pep. will need a secure garden where he can stretch his legs and enjoy some outdoor time. His new garden will need high, secure walls or fencing, as Pep. is surprisingly talented when it comes to jumping!

How to adopt from Dogs Trust (ROI)
Apply to adopt online for the dog you're interested in; Dogs Trust contacts you to arrange meeting the dog. Dublin dogs are at the Finglas rehoming centre; dogs elsewhere are in foster care and can't be visited at a centre.
Adoption fees
Our adoption fee is €275 for adult dogs and this fee helps us to cover the costs of caring for over 1,500 dogs every year. Our fee for adopting a puppy under 6 months is €325. This includes the €275 rehoming fee and a reduced €50 online Dog School fee. Our Dog School classes help puppies learn key life skills and teach owners the basic training skills they need to create a strong bond with their new dog. Every dog adopted from Dogs Trust is microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If your new dog is not already neutered at the time of adoption, you will go home with a voucher of €150 towards the cost of neutering a male or €200 towards the cost of spaying a female dog at a local veterinary practice. You will also receive a starter bag of food, a collar and lead. Once they're at home, you'll be able to access advice from the centre team if you need to.
